May 1 2023

People think I'm nuts, they might not be far off. I enjoy shoveling snow, maybe it's the Canadian in me, I like to watch a zamboni clean the ice between periods. Maybe it's the patterns and the neatness when it's done. Maybe it's time to meditate. My neighbor saw me shoveling my other neighbor's driveway (they were away in Winnipeg at the time). He pulled up in his big 4 wheel drive Ford F 350, no need to worry about deep snow in that thing. He asked if I was having fun, my immediate answer was, "as long as I am able to do it I will appreciate that fact."  Deanie's brother in Santa Maria can no longer do it and neither can Tony.

See you soon

February 1 2023

I haven't thought of anything to say and I'm afraid if I don't post now I'll forget all about it. You know how the saying goes, " My memory is really good...it's just really short". They also say it gets worse as you get older. I have noticed lately that the only time I can remember what I had for lunch is when I'm eating it.  Have a good day.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023

There we go, I'll borrow a line form Mr. Chapin. "The years keep rolling by". All the best to everybody for 2023.

December 1 2022

I'm a little late but before the day is over. I'm hoping to make it to the end of the year without further problems. We will be getting together here in Regina for a Christmas party. So, besides Christmas itself there's a couple other events to look forward to. Hope the season is good to everyone.

November 2022

Happy November. We are running out of year with over 300 days behind us. Last night was an interesting night of ghouls, goblins, witches, princesses, dinosaurs, skeletons, animals and ones I'm not sure of. We had 125 bars but we only had 28 people come to the door. The most we ever had was 42 so I started giving 2 bars per visitor, by the end of the night I was giving 4 per visit, I still have 60 bars left. I'm a bit of a chocoholic but it will take me 2 days to eat all those. Our neighbor across the street pulled a first ever on us when she came to the door with a treat for us, two pieces of a pumpkin chocolate swirl cake. She called it a reverse Halloween. It was new to us, I had eaten too many bars to have it last night, I'll have it for breakfast today. I'm on my way to walk with Heather.
