I think I just lost my first post, that's not a good sign.
Here I go again.
Following the examples of the blogs of Tricia and Bjorn I have decided to create this one so people can keep up to date with the progress made for the reunion in August. Here everybody can make known their opinions, ideas, concerns and questions.
The response to my emails has produced the following list of family hoping to attend:
Rob, Bonnie, Nicholas, Jessica, Therese, Mary, Christine, Len, Kelly, Amy, (Campbell), Marty, Karen, Mike, Diane, Lindsey, Luke, Shannon, Christine, Ron, James, Christine, Presley, Chris, Kristin, JJ, Nevan, Lucas, Marcia, Dennis, Shawn, Brant, Julianna, Kahless, Briana, Braden, Ed, Deanie, Heather, Holly, Jamie, Eddie, Mia, Lui, Ellie, Lou, Marie, Tricia, Brandon, Dana, Davis, Jack, Tony, Carol, Sonia, Justin, Jacob, Jordan, Dustin, Kelly, Keenan, Jenalee, Mary-Ellen, Bob, Anne Marie, Mike, Zach, Noah, Jacob, Barbara, David, Emmanuel, Grace Anne, Hannah Lynne, Louise, David, Paul, Alan, Melissa, Bjorn, Vic, Don, Michelle, Mike, Penny, Logan, Geron, Betty Jo, Bob, Louise, Steve and of course Mom. That makes 91.
News to date:
Holy Rosary Cathedral hall has been booked for the gathering Sunday August 26 from 12 to 5. People wishing to do so can invite their own family and close friends.
I ran into Art, the super at mom's building, and asked the capacity of the hospitality suite and he answered 40. The Cathedral hall is booked for a wedding the 25th so I am working on booking the student lounge at Campion College, with Heather's help, and it's looking hopeful.
Dave and Louise's offer to look after the snacks for Saturday is obviously too much to ask of them or any other couple. With ideas from the rest of you we should easily be able to come up with some kind of plan for feeding ourselves. Anybody else who have plans they need help with they need only ask for help.
Tony has answered my call for somebody to look after a budget for our event. Chris has let me know Marty has offered to play, Therese is looking after a performance program, Marcia has a great idea for family photos, Rob is looking after a cake for Sunday, and Vic and Don are looking after a photo and pin. Chris has also asked to let mom know what friends you are inviting. That is a good idea, it will be a little less overwhelming for mom if she knows who is coming.
That is what I have so far, like I said if there is any other news you will be able to post it here or let me know and I can. I am looking forward to seeing all of you. 159 and counting!

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 400 of 1400 Newer› Newest»Now that I have the 200th spot I can better explain my self! - Betty Jo called and Alan answered the phone and she asked for me after a quick chat with Al, he put me on the phone. BJ gave me an update on the blog and said if I want to be the 200th entry as well as the 100th I better hurry up and take the spot!
So i logged on to the blog and here I am.
Thanks for the Tip ;)
Wow 200 + entries and still 103 days to go!

taxi!!!!
Hey Lui
those are great answers to your quiz I was going to make some guesses tonight but Bonnie told me that you posted the answers I guess I'm kind of slow or maybe busy working I should make more time to get on this blog more often. Hello to everyone else
Love Robert
Hello everyone!
Well, I just spent a good couple of hours of the City's money reading all these blogs.... I think I may end up with a bit of time off, as the people in the office think I am crazy now, laughing at my computer the way I was!
But seriously, I am all for everyone sending the money to my dad, I'll help him take care of that end of it. (trust me, the bank card and PIN number thing doesn't work - i tried that with him a couple months back - he fell for it, but I was the sucker in the end - it was broken, wouldn't work at all - something about a zero balance??)
My dad told me about the blog site a couple weeks back and I completely forgot to log on....Mike called today and reminded me so here I am!!
I feel so savvy with all these blog sites I can log onto now...Tricia's, Tasha's, now this one! Okay - 3 is not many, but I can't think of 3 better ones to be a part of!
Looking forward to seeing everyone. Now I better get my cheque down to the RMF Office before Len and Kelly call to remind me for the 10th time...
Later!
Hey, I just realized I was the first person putting a comment on here today!
but i thought i had to log on again, so i could forget my password... which will most likely happen to me too!
hey sonia, i see you figured out how to get back in, that was faster then most of us, in regard to paying len for your kids minor football registration, he's the commissioner, and your uncle, you can probably wait for another 10 reminders before you pay him
welcome aboard - mike
I've come to join the excitement of the blog. I called Grandmama tonight and she was reading the blog and I asked her to give me the address. Eventually we figured it out and here I am, in the ink ( so to speak). It's very exciting to see the updates of the reunion, all I have to say is woohoot and hoorah. love you all,
Mary Emily
Hey!
What happened to all the action on the blog. I have an excuse, I'm trying to catch up on the sleep I missed last week, besides that I'm in the dumps, I'm suffering from music contest excitement withdrawal. It's like everybody suddenly vanished. Hello? Hello? It's a good thing Melissa is still around and Thank goodness Therese came on board with our nieces Sonia and Mary livening things up. Even Rob put down his trowel long enough to squeeze in an entry, then there's Mike always good for an entry or two, but he's got a bit of time, he's still waiting for his taxi.
Love Ed
I know exactly how Ed is feeling. I think I am experiencing separation anxiety. All those emails, phone calls, blogging and excitement---and now where is everyone? My email address, for those of you who have lost or misplaced it, is bettyjobarker@rogers.com. Fill my mail box, please.
Love, BJ
Hello BJ
Check your email I didn't lose it I just had to be reminded that I should be keeping in touch
Hey guys
I almost left town before I checked the blog. Good thing y'all reminded us folks to keep this thing goin'.
I'm heading for Sdmonton to shoot a movie for 7 days with Leslie Neilson. All my scenes are with him. It's a great role. The movie is called "Christmas In Wonderland" and it's a little bit like "Airplane".
I'll make sure that I check-in on the blog as much as possible. I wouldn't want to miss anything.
P.S. I wonder how many emails BJ got.
Love,
Marty
Yes, I knew this would happen- we need another project - maybe we could all watch hockey and cheer for the Senators - keep the Cup in Canada.
Dennis and I are headed for California tomorrow but I will be checking the blog every day.
Nice to hear from Mary Emily and Sonia, but where oh where is Lucy?
OK - here's a challenge for you. Write a sentence about the reunion and follow this format:
Make a reunion crowd - invite Antonini's!!
You have to figure out the format and then write the sentence - best one wins - we'll vote.
If you can't figure out the formula, I'll give you a clue next time - have fun!
Marcia
Hi Marcia - love the format. Here's mine - reference to the time of reunion drawing nearer: Take heart - emotional relatives eventually sigh euphorically.
Well done! You're the first this time!
Hi All,
Okay here's mine:
Make Antonini reunion your enthusiastic, lovely, loving, essential necessity.
Yahoo!
Mary Ellen xoxoxoxoxo
I'll run this past Mom tonight, and ask her to submit one for herself, but I thought of one for her:
Many Antonini's restore youth.
Thérèse
Hey Mary Ellen, that's fantastic! And it suits you too! And Mom's is perfect for the whole thing, Therese. By all means, you can submit for other people - but let's wait until they submit one of their own.
Just for fun:
Another night together? - oh no! - it's not infinite!
Any other versions of that?
Marcia
Hey Marty,
Congratulations on getting the role in "Christmas in Wonderland". It sounds like it'll be a lot of fun and laughs. I'm looking forward to hearing all about it and eventually seeing it. 3 cheers for Marty - hip-hip-hooray, hip-hip-hooray, hip-hip hooray! You are amazing, little brother.
Love & Laughs,
ME xoxoxoxoxo
Hi Marcia,
Thanks for getting something for us all to have fun with! I can hardly wait to see what the others come up with. I'm on my way out right now, but will be back later with another version of your " another night". Love it and you too, little sister.
Your big sister,
Mary Ellen xoxoxoxoxo
Thanks Mary Ellen
Marcia, you're a genius.
Too much fun:
My aspirations relate to you!!!
or
Maybe another rendition tells it nicely!!
Martino Silvano Antonini
Holy Cow, I go away for a couple of hours and you start a contest without me. This is just my first effort--I want to get in on the fun right away.
Best ever time to yell--joyful outcome.
Hey Marty,
Great about the movie. Congrats and break a leg!
Lucy,
Where are you? You are sorely missed.
Marcia,
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Therese,
Thanks for the second clue (Marcia's was the first of course). Would we have figured it out otherwise.
By Jing this is going to be fun!
Love, BJ
Sorry, I forgot about the theme:
May all relatives tell inspiring news.
sorry Marce,
love, Marty
I'll add one more for now, because I think it fits so well:
Marvelous and really clever ideas abound.
HI Everyone,
Great versions, BJ and Marty!Love your new one, Therese! Here comes one for Marcia's last challenge. It is in regards to the upcoming reunion and it is in the form of a question:
Any new thoughts or novel ideas? Nosy Italian
Cheers,
M.e xoxoxoxo
Hi Marcia
I don't know if this is right but im willing to give it a try
reveling Antoninis having a wonderful time
Love Robert
Sorry Marcia
Boy am I stupid
heres a different one
another night together!! oh!! now include new inlaws
Well done BJ! "Bring everyone to this year's joyful occasion"!!
Glad you fixed yours Marty - they were all good but the theme is important. Congrats on the movie by the way - it's FANtastic.
Robert - you have the theme, but the format isn't quite right.
Hey Mary Ellen, your second version of my challenge is brilliant!
Thanks for yours, Therese - very nice.
Having fun now, Marcia
Hey somehow I missed Marcia's second challenge. I'm back in the game now.In anticipation of and as encouragement to add to the fun to come: All news that offers new inspiration needs inviting.
BJ
Marcia,
You did a Better Job on mine than I did. Have you got one for everyone?
BJ
No I don't, but that one just came to me.
To tell the truth I just thought this up as I was typing my first entry today. I had no idea it would be this fun.
Now I am working on one for everyone - some are hard than others!!
Love you challenge answer.
Marcia
Hi Marcia
I don't pay close attention do I
here goes another try
Many Antonini's reccomend cool ideas also?
August nears, though older nincompoops ignore new infants.
Sorry Rob, I missed your other entry - that's correct for the challenge, but you need one for the original task!
Marcia
Hey Marcia
I think you've created a monster.
I can't leave my damn computer.
I'm waiting for the next entry.
Thanks a lot. My call time was changed for the movie. Now, all I have is time. That's dangerous.
Love. Marty
Hey Robert, that's good but you still need the original - are you pulling my leg???
Marty - you are a nut. Well done.
Marcia
O.K. Marcia
Reminicing oldies, bring exciting
reports too
Here's one for the new challenge:
A novel time offers new inspiration now – Incredible!
DAMN, WE'RE GOOD!!!!!!
Hey Marcia
I'm Having a blast but I've got a little girl by the name of Jessica who wants to get on the computor and you know how we like to teach them to share so I have to sadly say bye for now hope I got that last one right if i didn't I'll try again later.
Love Robert
SLOW THE HECK DOWN!! I CAN'T READ THIS FAST!!!!
Whoa!
That's what I call action. I don't know though, another project? It seems to me that...Each day we are really desperate for reunion activity. Numerous contests inspire, sometimes providing elementary to extreme responses, And, no trophy offered? no, I'm not in! I will add...August now tells of notably influenced numbers interested.
Edward
Yes Rob, you've got it now - thanks for the fun.
Ed, Ed, Ed, you are too much. You're in!!
Marcia
PS: I have to warn everyone, Therese sent me a whole set of these and they will make you laugh and cry. Saving them until we get more entries, but here's one from her for Robert: Rare occasion becoming exciting reality - terrific! See what I mean? Laughing and crying, Marcia
ED DAILY WATCHES AUGUST REUNION DEADLINE!
Maryellen ardently reads your entertaining, laughable, lovable, enjoyable notes!!!!
Magnificent artistry represent these impressive names.
Reunion of big exciting rowdy tribe
Ok, we are having lots of fun on the blog but it is also for reunion plans so I just have this to say:
Discussions about Decisions make opinions meaningful, but everything takes time. Your job often varies in content lending once understood incidents suspect. Everybody makes a routine yes emotional. Let's leave extra notions to open negotiation. You look over useful, easy demands made about reunion communications. I am certain happenings remain in systematic motion. I keep every mention about reunion tasks in notes labeling every need. Take heed everybody, remember, Ed says, enjoy, relax, orate, burst.
Lots of love
Holy doodle
I vote that Ed is in the lead for Marcia's contest based on that last entry I'm impressed Ed you never cease to amase me Good one
Robert
Edward,
You show off! What a fabulous entry. From the sounds of it though, Therese may give you a run for it. It will be fun to see how everyone reacts to your challenge.
Love, BJ
Hey everyone,
I found Lucy!! She is alive and well and living in St Andrews, but their computer is waiting for a new modem. She should be on line by Monday night. Boy, does she have a lot of blogging to catch up on. I look forward to hearing her comments.
Love, BJ
P.S. Lucy says hi to everyone and looks forward to joining us soon.
Thank you Betty Jo, you have made my day. It's great to hear news about someone you love and I love Lucy. I figured it was her computer, that's the dad in me, but I can't say i wasn't concerned, that's the mom in me. I can now join Deanie and my Heather for a walk around Wascana Lake with peace in my heart.
BJ your awesome!
Edward
Awesome! Thanks for all the amazing sentences, laughs and good news.
I will be in transit today but will re-enter the blog tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to Monday when Louise's uncooperative computer yields!
love to all,
Marcia
wow!!! gone for a day and the blog explodes - after reading all these new entires, i must say -
marcia is crazy, her antics excite levels antonini's now talk on nights in nearing itinery.
sorry for calling you crazy marcia, but does that make sense to you
luv mike
Testing to see if I remember my password.
One more test after signing on again.
OK so I forgot my password. I was going to try to read it all b4 posting again but I got up to May 10 and have to go soon. So everyone should email or call Len. Maybe he's like me and didn't know about this? Anyway - although there's no way I can comment on everything I've read today I do want to add a couple of Dad's sayings that have had a huge impact on my life. They are: "You're always going to have to do things you don't want to do." and "Don't care what people think. I don't care what people think." Oh yeah - and of course - when I got my car in an accident - "Are you ok?"
Hey Chris
Who is Ttsiirmp?
Hey Marcia
Nice one on the Lucy thing.
Hey Mike
Niiiice.
Hey BJ
Good stuff in nabbing the escapee.

Hey Rob
Good Job.
Hey Ed
You gotta quit winnin' all the contests.
Hey Therese
What's your middle name again?
Hey Melissa
Where'd you go?
Welcome Mary E
HOLY COW!!!!
Last time I looked and counted the blog entries was May.15 there was 205 and now 5 days later there is 53 new posts, I can't keep up, as for the newest contest I don't have any ideas yet!
I have been keeping track of the entries and I might have a contest for the reunion that relates to the blog and the entries. May has been a HUGE month for entries, 146 and counting and their is still 11 days left in the month.
The other 'Scores' at this point
Marty: You are still #1 w/ 47 entries
BJ: you are still 2nd w/ 41 entries
ME, Ed and Melissa: are tied in 3rd with 23 entries each.
Keep them coming!
Mike has guessed that there might be 555, or even 1000 entries by the reunion, anyone else have any guesses. Its like guessing the # of Jelly Beans in the jar!
Melissa
lol - number of jelly beans in a jar, thats funny melissa !!! you must be wondering what the heck were all talking about.
marty - you know i hate those words
niiiiice & puuuuurrrrfect, why do you do that to me.
hey marcia the senators won today, thier going to the final (canada's team) b.j. are you excited, len if your there, i might be buying a senators cap,

Hi Marcia I think I have got it! many excellent loving siblings simultaneously winning awards.
I will try again later after i think awhile longer!
I wanna try too!!! My mom helped me a little!
behold joy overflowing on reunion night.
brilliant melissa
taxi!!!!!
Melissa has been keeping informed about the blog and has told me about the newest contest and i want to put in my ballot. I have two
#1 - awaiting lively antonini nepotism
#2 - Antonini's long awaited nexus
See you all in August!
Love Al
Hello again, I'm back and writing from sunny California. Excellent new entries into the contest. Melissa and Alan - very well done, you are in the grove! And Bjorn - I think yours is one of my favorites!!
Here are a few more from Therese - for those of you who have already entered the contest:
They’re here – every rambunctious embracing sibling – Excellent!
Mixing and reminiscing together - Yes! OR Most amazingly reunion time is near.
Magically inspiring kinship – Extraordinary! OR Most individuals could hardly endure arriving late.
Meeting all relative could invoke awe.
Exceedingly dear weirdos - all Regina’s darlings.
Marvellous and remarkable - you exhibit laugh lines extremely nicely.
Bringing everyone together this year – just outstanding.
Memories are really yummy.
Ain't she great?? More later.
Marcia xoxo
Yow! Like some of you I haven't checked lately so it took me half an hour to catch up. I would like to I offer the following about the reunion:
Let us include good individuals, great edibles, really awesome redheaded dignitaries and nostalgic tales of newborn individuals now included.
You guys just made my Sunday. Way to go Melissa and Alan. Bjorn's is one of my favorites. Therese is awesome. Lui blew me away with the middle of his sentence. Of course, the Senators making it to the Stanley Cup didn't hurt either. Today is definitely a red-letter day. Go Sens Go.
Love, BJ
Realize, only because every reunion that time has ever recorded, even since eternity, lets everybody observe new and remarkable dedication, making a reunion the interesting natural method in choosing how an entire lot clusters. Here Robert is spending time in numbered entries marking all relative's comments. In August each day will activate remembered data, laughing uncontrollably is guaranteed,if anybody needs tissues have one near you. Maybe a remark you enter leaves love emotionaly noted. Luckily our understanding is similar, every voice is cherished to our reunion. I am becoming excited to tears, youthful joy oils my actions...Remarkable yakking...let us initaite great inspiration.
P.S. A note to observe, now I'm nearing insanity.
Oh My goodness Ed, you have done it again.
Lui - yours was inspired - so perfectly discribing the event.
I was so glad to hear about the Sens, Mike. Dennis and I had to get on the plane just as overtime started - agh!! How long did they play?? Once we got to the states, we couldn't find out about the game!!
I'm anxiously awaiting Lucy's return now. She'll be amazed at your creativity.
I know I am.
Marcia
marcia and dennis - ottawa's captain, daniel alfredson scored halfway thru the first o.t. period. if they win the cup he will be the playoff m.v.p.
b.j. will you be going to a game?
lui - nice to here from you again
luv mike
ok - so today I got up to May 14 and also managed to read May 19. Sorry Len - I see you were already on when I was worrying about you. I just love all the creativity - I'll keep right on watching it. Hey Mike - I think we should all go to the Sen's game - what do you think BJ?
Anyway, quite often, when I'm looking for a movie to watch, I'm wishing I had a list of Marty's. Well just google his name and you'll get everything he's done between 1999 and 2006. I think you can udate that google page Marty. I'd like to list them but the list is quite long!
Thanks for stretching the reunion out for a few months Ed.
Hello, everyone! About this here entry: Reunions like ours, unique in size, emotional and naturally talented, obviously necessitate increasingly newfangled inventiveness.
Also, you're all nuts.
I love it!
The last bunch of riddles was fun, but I have to admit I'm glad to have my dad back. At least I think it's Dad... He looks familiar, if not a little gaunt, unshaven and loopy in the eyes, wandering around muttering something about a bunch of dogs at night in the outback and owin' a buck to some actor... I dunno. Anyway, I'm glad that's over.
In other news, the subject is the first cousins, the answers are all song titles from the 70s and 80s, and here are the riddl-- What? There are over 30 of us??! Um...ya, never mind that idea.
It'll be good (and overwhelming) to see you all again!
Love,
Heather
Edward, I salute you. Your latest entry is:
Brilliant, entertaining, timely, tremendous! You jump over-the-top.
Very impressive, clever.
Loving, overwhelming,up-beat, intelligent, smart, entirely magnificent, awesome, rollicking yet elegant, laughter laden, excellent, novel. Top-notch, overpowering, notable. You leap unsurpassed, infinitely gifted, ingenious, Enormously diverting, witty, artistic, remarkable, delicious. Marvellous, appropriate, resplendent, charming, immeasurably astonishing. Captivating, humorous, resourceful, inventive, skillful. Masterful, incredible, knowing, expert. Memorable, accomplished risible, talented, innovative, naturally light-hearted, enormously note-worthy. Thoroughly hilarious, expressive, razor-sharp, especially satisfying, extraordinary. Refreshing, outstanding, bedazzling!!!
You're the King!
Mike and Chris,
I wish! Who can afford hockey games these days? Still, we have had our Senators flag flying for the entire series and will be watching and cheering when the Cup starts.
Hi Heather,
Your entry sure says it all. Ain't it the truth?!
Love, BJ
2nd entry for me
Many entries laugh-out-loud interesting, silly sibling activity.
I might have some more, Al is on a roll with them, he likes doing this type of thing!
For the other contest I have:
Any night together overwhelms new individuals not informed.
Hey Chris, the IMDb page only shows 21 entries for Marty when he has been in fifty. I think the only way to get all the names would be for me to go back through his tax returns and list the ones he got paid for.
One of his most recent ones is 'Bury my heart at wounded knee' which isn't on the IMDb page. It is an HBO movie that premieres on HBO at 9:00 pm (EST)on May 27.
Marty is Col. James Forsyth and one of his lines is quoted in a review at www.friendslittlebighorn.com/buryheartwoundedknee.htm.
I'm not sure where the sites get the list of the cast but many times it is incomplete.
Anyway, just a little info about your brother. He very seldom says too much about his parts which are always speaking parts - very difficult to get, especially as many as he gets.
Obviously some of the scenes end up on the cutting room floor but more often they don't. Anyway, he has more credits than anyone in these parts.
He is definately in wounded knee as he has already seen it.
Sorry Marty, I know you don't normally say too much so I hope you don't get upset with me for shooting off my big mouth!!!
Nice job, Lui.
The weekend has been filled with lots of fun and information, but this was an extra bit of family trivia.
Heather, you did a great job - it caught me off guard, and BJ yours was brilliant too.
I am including here the last of Therese's - she said to wait until each person had entered, but I want to include the rest of hers now, before things get even more complicated!
Laughing endlessly – Nice! OR Loving each other necessitated a reunion – Delightful!
Counting hurriedly remaining interval – Stupendous! OR Comical humour revealed in shared tales increases noise exponentially.
Loving our unity OR Lonely unless I get included.
Telling of naughty youth OR All needing time home? Only nod yes.
Lingering on until I see everyone.
Very impressive clan OR Voices intone communal tunes or revel in admiration.
Thanks again for the fun!
Lots of love, and laughing until I cry.
Marcia xoxo
PS: One of my favourite lines from a great old song - "I'll hold you in my heart, 'til I can hold you in my arms!"
OK here is a new game for us to play:
It take a while to do but the outcome is unique.
Decode my message, Then try and make your own!
OI! ONE NUN INN MY FAIR TAIL
Good Luck!
Al
Hi Al,
I think I've got it. "Antonini Family Reunion"
By the way everyone, I think you're all very clever with your "name sentences".
I repeat myself: DAMN WE"RE GOOD!
LOL,
ME xoxoxoxoxoxo
PS.
I meant to write:
I repeat myself: DARE WE DONG MO?"
What a maroon!
Mary Ellen
Hi! Oh, looks like you jumped at Marcia's invitation! Everyone enjoys diversions! Did I ever enter my invention?:
Look! Introducing Antoninis like us! It's Ed's Lineage! Incredible! Stupendous!
Average buzz encountering the Gustafsons: Unbelievable! Still truckin' after four sensational offspring! Nuts!
Well, I tried! How's this for a new challenge. You've probably heard of Jeff Fozworthy's "Redneck" jokes (eg. If you've ever towed a car using pantyhose and duct tape, you might be a redneck...). Instead, finish this sentence:
You might be an Antonini if...
Here's my entry: You might be an Antonini if you ever developed carpal tunnel syndrome from playing hand-held Yahtzee! (How DID you get that high score, Uncle Michael? I can't break 600!)
You might be an Antonini if...
...only a third of your family could make it for Christmas, and you still had to rent the Church hall.
819 holly, can u believe that, i swear to god, i think i had 6 yahtzees, the only one who could probably break it would be your dad, but i don't think so. uncle rob had 700 and some. i hav'nt been able to break 600 either, since my big score
to your new challenge: you might be an antonini if you've never lost your keys
luv - uncle mike
luv - uncle mike
Ed's Edition!
I've created a monster.
Oh my! oh my! oh my!
Hello everyone,
Are we all having that much fun writing these comments or do we ALL have that much time on our hands LOL. Since I am only driving 8 days a week now I thought I would put in my 3 cents worth. looking forward to seeing everyone in August I can;t believe it has been 7 or 8 years since I have seem some of you. I hope everyone is well.
Love Paul.
indead you have ed!!!
hello paul
uncle mike
you know ME it took Al longer to make that anagram than it did for you to solve it.
Marty,
Now all the Butchers have logged in to the blog.
You might be an Antonini if...
you have ever over exaggerated the number of something... and been called on it. (How many...)
In regards to Alan:
Hi! Aha…incredible contest! Um…I’m revealing what’ll arise once letters lean into rarity. Mediocrity? Bad error? Joy!
Aum.
H.
(Yes, all 14 of you are in there. Go ahead. I dare you to check.)
In regards to Holly:
If you've ever spend two hours coming up with the best response for a contest one of your family members created...you might be an Antonini.
Love,
H
I had something to say before I started reading all this bloging now i'm tired I'm going to bed
goodnight
I went to go to bed and realized you might be an Antonini if you've stub your toe on the foot of the bed!!! and your definitly an Antonini if you've broke your Toe stubbing it on the foot of the bed, coffee table or couch.
I would say something, but I'm laughing so hard I can't see the screen for the tears in my eyes.
BJ
If you think blogging is a competitive sport, you might be an Antonini!
Uncle Micheal, when you were going for high score, did you just go for Yahtzee every time and not worry about getting the straights, etc?
OK-now that I've stopped laughing, caught my breath and mopped the tears off my face....
Hi Paul,
Welcome to the blog and your crazy relatives.
Lui,
Thanks for the info. I visit the IMDb page periodically and figured there must a lot missing.
Therese,
WOW!! Not only are your latest offerings extremely clever, but they fit the personalities perfectly! Wow again.
Marcia,
I'll hold YOU in MY heart, too.
M-E,
Ditto to your Dare we dong mo!
Holly,
Like we really need another contest!!?
You might be an Antonini... if you love to laugh.
Heather,
Great entry. I trust you so much I didn't even check!
Robert,
You read the blog at night. I read it in the morning. After reading it this morning, I may go back to bed.
Melissa,
We're getting close to 300. You know what that means.
Lucy,
It will probably take you at least a day to read the entries since you were last on line. Have fun!
LOL, BJ
You know BJ I was up at 3:30 this morning and I checked the blog and it was at 290 and i thought about securing the 300 spot, but then we would be tied for most entries in a row so I thought I would wait till later this morning Now its 9:15 and i may as well take the spot. so #300 here I come!

I can't believe how smart everybody is!! These latest entries are amazing. Holly's whole family's names, Al's anagram, everyone's sentences & Heather's anagram blew me away!
I think everyone's ideas about knowing you're an Antonini are brilliant!
Holly's - hilarious
Mike's - absolutely right on
Melissa's - perfect and nostalgic
Heather's - cute & funny at the same time
BJ's - I'm loving to laugh
but I must admit I have a soft spot in my heart for Robert's ---AND I HAVE THE CROOKED TOES TO PROVE IT!
With love & laughter,
ME xoxoxoxoxoxox
Eight days a week, Paul. Sounds like a good name for a song!!
You might be an Antonini if you know not to ask for ice cream on the way to Lumsden.
If you are an Antonini and ask for ice cream, you might not be one any more.
whoeeee, you guys are funny!!!!!
holly - i was'nt just going for yahtzees, they just kept coming and i made my strates and such, i'm late for an appointment because of the blog, i have to go
luv your uncle mike
You might be an Antonini if you think Rice Krispies are for dessert.
If you sit at your computer waiting for the latest entries on the blog to print out so you can take them up for mom to enjoy, then go up to mom's and realize you left the pages on your kitchen table...you might be an Antonini
P.S. I was just at mom's and she had finished the pages I had taken up before and she says, "I think you kids have already started the reunion".
I have some more to take up tonight.
You might be an Antonini if, for you, butlers are not male servants but the best "Fish 'N Chips" ever!!
Your right Uncle Lui, that would make a good song.
Driving down the Highway, working eight days a week....... Anyone else want to continue?
As far as I know this only refers to ONE Antonini.
If a drive to the beach with your kids doubles as NAP time!
You might be an Antonini.
You might be an Antonini if...you just told somebody you have six brothers and you're dying for them to ask if you have any sisters
You might be an Antonini brother if you buy a bottle of shampoo and it lasts for 2 years!
You might be an Antonini if...you just told someone you had 6 sisters and you're dying for them to ask if you have any brothers.
BJ
very funny Lou, just to let you know I had to have a hair cut today. It was growing out of my left ear and poking me in the neck.
Paul.
Driving down the highway
Working 8 days a week
Dreaming of the fairway,
Gentle sun upon your cheek.
Anyone with the next line?
BJ
Paul,
....
53 footer trailin' behind, Fairways and flag poles fresh on my mind.
Back it up dock it, Drop the gear, Pull the pin the game is on, Lets grab a beer.
...
Next line anyone ...
Actually Betty Jo, I was thinking more of a love song. Something like this:
Ooh i need your love babe,
Guess you know it's true.
Hope you need my love babe,
Just like i need you.
Hold me, love me, hold me, love me.
Ain't got nothin'but love babe,
Eight days a week.
Love you ev'ry day girl,
Always on my mind.
One thing i can say girl,
Love you all the time.
Hold me, love me, hold me, love me.
Ain't got nothin'but love babe,
Eight days a week.
Eight days a week
I love you.
Eight days a week
Is not enough to show i care.
I think we should send it to Paul and see if he likes it.
McCartney that is!!!!
You might be an Antonini if you used to watch 'Beat the Headlines' with your mother.
If your family tree looks more like a really big bush you might be an Antonini.
Heather
I'll take your word for it, Melissa challenged me to use all 14 but you posted yours before I even started. Good Job!
Wow Lui that's sounds Awfully familiar, why not try something original.
Al asks did you have to look up the lyrics or do you have them memorized?
You might be an Antonini if you used to watch "Wagon Wheels" (aka Country Hoedown) with your Mother.
Okay, Here's the second verse:
Drivin' down the highway,
feelin' kinda blue,
kissed her ruby, red lips,
and left her behind for you.
You might be an Antonini...if your dad ever showed you the rings of Saturn, or the Sea of Tranquility, through his telescope.
lots of Love
Ed
You might be an Antonini if....
You've been singing thousands of songs for people, up on stage for more than 30 years, and the only guy in the crowd who knows more songs than you is your brother... who happens to be a chartered accountant.
You're right BJ:

I'll be back in a few hours.
PS: You might be an Antonini if you've ever let a puzzle take precidence over breakfast, lunch and supper - several days in a row.
Lucy loves U
Here's Lucy--at last! Welcome back. Don't be a stranger, now.
Wow, I love getting up in the morning and finding all these new comments in the blog.
Lui,
Way to go! I had trouble thinking up a couple of lines and you wrote a whole song. I loved the "Paul McCartney" bit.
Holy cow, Alan, You too. what is it with these song-writers?
Ditto to Marty.
Love, BJ
You might be an Antonini if...
...after being called by your mother, you're still not sure she meant you.
...you knew that little Lui was over 6 feet tall.
...you have to tell the photographer there are no inlaws in the group photo.
...every time you hear the numbers
1140, your eyes well up.
...you've just discovered how many of your siblings' names start with 'M-A-R' and many acronyms result.
...you know 'how many' days there are until August 25th.
Thérèse
mary ellen - butlers opended this weekend and diane and i had em, ha ha
you might be an antonini if: you breg about eatin at butlers
Hi fellow bloggers
I don't know if I can rightfully call myself a blogger since I've only "blogged" once and now find I'm about a month and 300+ entries behind!! What happened! I have to leave now and spend the next couple of hours catching up. Talk to you...oh, I mean, blog soon. Vic
Hey Guys
You might be an Antonini if...
...you are relieved when you find out your sister Vic wasn't really kidnapped.
Welcome back sis.
love Marty
Lucy here,
Hi Vic... long time no blog!
Len... now everytime my phone doesn't ring I know it's you - thanks to Jimmy Buffet!
Marcia... Lively online utterances induce strong emotions.
Christine... do you remember Dad saying to a bunch of us gathered in the dining room at 1140 where we were discussing the cummulative cost of our weekly allowances - "you are my riches"...?
Mike... my yahtzee high score button reads a modest 620; apparently I've got a long way to go yet. Taxi!
Ed... I like the way you manage to slip in a few actual reunion plans once in a while. The rest of us may be out of control but we know you're millions of steps ahead of us.
Holly... you might be an Antonini if beautiful floors remind you of your dad.
BJ... I wonder how many red-headed dignitaries will show up at our reunion? That will be another red-letter day for sure. Perhaps red roses are in order.
Lou... I wanna hold your hand!
Marty... Employment Opportunity: Assistant ball-spotter urgently required in St. Andrews!
ME... NO MADDER WE GO!
I'll be back.... Louise
You and Arnold?
I see some of you were writing songs and a little while ago I wrote one about a guy who meets a girl who doesn't even know they've met so it breaks his heart but in the end he gets the girl after all, I love stories like that. Here's my song.
You don't remember me,
but I remember you
T'was not so long ago,
you broke my heart in two
My day in the hills
has come to an end,
A star has come out
To tell me it's time to go
It's just no good anymore
Since you went away
Now I spend my time just
Making rhymes of yesterday
I tell my eyes look the other way
But they don't seem to hear a word I say
We'll make a film about a man
That's sad and lonely,
I don't care just what they say
Got down on my knees
And I pretend to pray
Every time I think that I'm
The only one who's lonely
Someone calls on me
I can talk these words that
Will sound so sweet
They will even make your
Little heart skip a beat
There are no gloomy skies
When seen through the eyes
Of those who are blessed with love
Every day I thank you love
For a feeling that's so new
So inviting, so exciting
Whenever you're near
No matter how they tossed the dice
It had to be
The only one for me is you
And you for me
You got me rockin' and a rollin'
Rockin' and a reelin'
Dominique, nique, nique
This is nicholas my dad entered me and hello every body

good night everybody, lol ( lots of love)
Good Morning Jessica and Nicholas!
I hope you had a good night's sleep with Uncle Ed's song playing in your dreams. I tried to put the words to music myself but I didn't succeed.
Now that you each have a google account, we'll expect you to be regular visitors on this blog site until we meet again at our August reunion. As you know, we're all counting the days.
LOLOL, Aunty Louise (lots of love on line)
Louise here, Lou
...that could probably be arranged.
LOLOL (laugh out loud on line)
I'm sorry Ed, I think you are a little confused, or at least mixed up --- and where did you hide Mom?
Really..........
Tony, Vic, BJ, Lui, Marty, Mike, Marcia, Therese, Rob, Len, Chris, Ed, ME, Louise.
What am I missing??????????
Maybe it's me that's confused!!!!!!!!
Lui,
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??!! I think you and Ed are both confused. And I'm even more confused. What am I missing? Please! Somebody explain!
Welcome back, Vic, but are you sure you want to hang around with this crazy crowd?
Hi Jessica and Nicholas.
Love, BJ
Hey BJ
Let me try to 'splain.
You see... Ed used the words from every song that Lou used in Lou's contest,
for Ed's song. What Ed has to be careful of is this.... Lou is the utmost expert in song titles, lyrics, writers and their kinfolk, etc. I think Ed left Mom out, (Roses Are Red), which, you see, has had almost disastrous consequences.
The lesson... Don't be trying to pull the wool over Lou's eyes... even if it may be an acccident.
Take it from me.
I can't miss word when Lou is at my gig.
Marty
welcome nicholas and jessica - when are you gonna come and visit me again?
thks for the explantion marty, i was with b.j. on that one, i did'nt have a clue. some great lyrics have been created, the gauntlet has been set.
mary ellen, no further comments about butlers?
its nice to hear from lucy and vic again
luv mike
Welcome back, Louise & Vic,
Welcome Nicholas & Jessica,
Hello All.
Mike,
when I read that you had just had some Butler's, memories came flooding back and I went to look at the picture of Butler's that you gave me years ago ( the one on the calendar ). Do you remember it? I framed it and have it hanging in my bedroom. I thought of Regina Beach and all the good times I've had there, so thank you for the walk down Memory Lane.
At the same time, I sure wished I could have been there with you & Diane as you enjoyed the "best fish'n chips ever." You lucky people!!!!!
You might be an Antonini if you wanted to be the first one to call out "I can see the lake", as Dad drove over the last hill on highway 54.
Laughing & Crying,
Mary Ellen xoxooxoxxo
P.S.
Sugar is sweet, my love.
But luck may god bless you."
good eye! Lou
Thanks Marty,
Actually, I recognized the lines, but was looking for something more in them--more anagrams, names within words, such as 'tossED' the dice, for you is 'ME', etc. I guess I'm just trying to make things more complicated than they are. What a maroon!
You guys just know too much!
Love, BJ
mary ellen - i do remember the picture and i'm impressed you framed it and hung it in your bedroom. i have one in my office at work.
there could be a trip to the beach for fish and chips this summer
yes______ or no_______
you might be an antonini if on your last day of summer at the beach, even though it was overcast and cold, you'd still go
for a final dip at the little beach
p.s. remember how warm the water was that final day?
just crying
mike
Hey Ed
I read your song again. You're way deep bro. Ever consider songwriting for a living?
We could be partners. Marty (Elton) John and Eddie Taupin.
Ahh... What I wouldn't do for some Butler's chips right now.
Hi Nicholas and Jessica
I am actually worried that the reunion may not be as much fun as this blogging.
Love, Marty
Actually, BJ didn't Say. I am posting this for Vic,as her equipment has to be replaced.
vic said.....
Hi Marty et al.
Thanks for the welcome back. I've read all the comments and so .....
335 entries since my very first blog,
My senses are reeling, I am agog.
Discovering the laughter, music and games,
Sisters and brothers with newly-found names.
I've read all the comments from BJ to Bjorn,
Made plans to octuple my candied popcorn.
Tried out the games without much success
Applauded Marci's ideas for our family "dress."
The entries are marvellous, witty and quirky
Clues to Lou's puzzles I found kind of murky.
Considering the fun we are having right now
Just imagine us "reunioned"---
I can only think,WOW!
Love Vic
Hi Everybody,
Vic,
You are awesome!! What wonderful rhyme. Damn you're good!
I think I'm becoming addicted to this blog - more likely this family!
I must admit you are good people to hang out with and I feel better just being with you! No wonder I can't stay away.
LOVE, ME xoxoxoxoxo
I am thinking we should have an awards ceremony on Saturday called The Bloggies where we hand out all the prizes we have promised on this blogsite and reward everyone for all their creative entries!
You might be an Antonini if you know Vic's candied popcorn recipe octupled will most certainly be enough... for YOU!
Cousin Holly,
Its funny that you say that we should have an award cermony, because I have been keeping track of who is blogging and who has won what. I second your idea.
I did it!
14 hours and twenty six cups of coffee and I'm caught up.
Hello everyone. Let me try my hand at some of this stuff.
For Mom:
Accumulating naturally theatrical heirs over ninety years.
You might be an Antonini if you've been to the emergency room more than 3 times in the last 16 hours.
You might be an Antonini if you sweep up your decorations after Christmas rather than box them.
You might both be Antoninis if you left one of your kids behind and neither of you notice.
Your long lost brother, Tony
Did I get two in a row?
You might be an Antonini if your August 25/26 weekend reunion begins in March.
Tony
Alright!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome back Tony,
I'm laughing so hard I can hardly see my keyboard!
I have to make a correction of one of my earlier entries. We chanted " I can see the water ", not " I can see the Lake".
The tune was something like:
A A F# B A F# ( in the octave starting with middle C). Each note was held for 1 count except the last A & F#. They were held for 2 counts. Try it and you'll remember!!!!!
Good night,
LOLOL ( as Lucy says),
ME xoxoxoxoxoxxo
I think I got it!
na na na na naaaa, naaaa!
That sounds like something one sibling would say to another. I know i use to do the same thing to my one sister, I can only imagine the reaction that would get with 13 siblings.
Welcome back, Tony and Carol.
We've missed you. You'll find it is much easier to read each day's blog than to read all 122 pages at one time. I check it out first thing every morning--even before I have my coffee. It sets me up for the day. I'll be looking for you from now on.
Love, BJ
Lucy here!
You're definitely an Antonini if you can string off 14 children's names, in order of birth, without hesitation.
It's simply not possible for me to respond to every good idea and each delightful line whenever I log onto this site. A bloggers' award night makes perfect sense, Holly. Keep your winners' list going, Melissa.
Welcome back, Tony and Carol!
Thanks for the correction, Mary-Ellen, and for the tune! How did you do that? ROW MAN DEED GO!
I love your poem, Vic. You have inspired me to compose several two-line rhyming riddles of memorable moments in family history. I'll post them one at a time though. As soon as someone responds with "WHO DID WHAT", I'll move on to the next riddle.
Here's the first one:
THOUGH WE NUMBER BY THE SCORE
WE DON'T LOSE TRACK ANY MORE!
Enjoy the memories!
Love Louise
Welcome Tony and Carol
I was impressed by your sentence, Tony.
Hey Mary Ellen, you are a musician!! I loved your explanation and the correction - I didn't want to say anything about that but it was the water, wasn't it?
Vic, your poem (or verse) was outstanding.
Lucy, we missed you and your input was so welcomed. We 'don't lose track anymore' because Bob Barker made a Family Tree?
I think Mom is right, we have started the reunion already and that's great. Those two days will go by so quickly and there's so much to talk about. It's nice to touch base first and it makes the anticipation so much greater.
From sunny California,
Love, Marcia
Hello again,
Right on, Marcia! I often refer to Bob's family tree for names, dates, ages and connections. It's a terrific resource. He's adding photos to it now. The possibilities are endless.
As promised, here's the next riddle:
GIFTS DON'T COME FROM HEARTS ALONE,
THIS ONE CAME STRAIGHT FROM THE BONE!
Luv, Lucy
Lucy,
Brandon's bone marrow was a gift to Tricia. They are both heroes in our books.
Love, BJ
Hey, y'all,
Wehn I travel to Regina for the big bash in August, I will carry with me the latest edition of the Antonini Family Tree (Luigi/Mary branch). Currently it has all of you in it together with your family members but for the families of Betty Jo, Louise (Lucy?), Mary Ellen and Marcia, there will be pictures of each family member. I'll put yours in if I get one or more by the time I leave - just to be on the safe side, I better give a deadline Monday, August 13. Can be individual, or group as long as it's clear - tiny will inevitably lead to distortions. They can be print via snail mail or digital by email, as you wish. There will not be any further reminders.
Bob Barker
Bob forgot to give his email address in case you want to send him digital pictures. It is rmbarker@rogers.com
BJ
Lucy here,
Yes, yes, BJ - you are right on both counts. Tricia's first new lease on life came from her brother, Brandon. Time itself has proven what a gift that was, not only to Tricia, but to all of us!
Yahoo, Bob, your tree, pictures and all, is sure to capture the attention of everyone gathered at the reunion. Your offer to add photos right up to August 13th is most generous. The excitement is building!
Here we go again with the next clue:
THIS 'GRAND' FINALE CAME WITH FLAIR
COMPLETING TOTALS WITH A PAIR!
LOLOL, Louise
Louise
The birth of the twins, Jack and Davis?
As Lucy & I have both said before:"DOG OWNER DAME!"
Love,
ME xoxoxoxoxoxo
Hi Lui, Lucy here....
I realize that I will have to accept your surprise answer. When I wrote this riddle, I hadn't considered all the possibilities. As Ed would say, "good eye, Lou".
For Mom the arrival of Jack and Davis was a 'great-grand' event but not the 'grand' finale. That came with the birth of her last two 'grand'children, Jessica and Nicholas on April 9, 1997. Oh, Happy Day!
However, I recognize that for you and Marie the birth of the twins is your 'grand' finale, to date. Who knows what lies ahead though?
I'm sure ME will agree: MADE WONDER GO!
So....here's my next riddle:
A YOUTHFUL TRIBUTE SIMPLY SPOKEN,
SOOTHING HEARTS UNTIMELY BROKEN.
Lots of love, Louise
Hi Lucy,
Is this Heather's simply wonderful tribute at Dad's funeral?
And Lucy, I do agree: GOD REMADE NOW!
Love,
ME xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Here we go.
We don't lose track anymore!
Hmmmm?
What?!
Ok
Straight from the bone!
Hmmmm?
What?!
Ok
Make note- send pictures
Now let's see.
Completing totals with a pair!
Hmmmm?
What?!
The twins...of course!
What?!
not those ones?
Ok
Soothing hearts untimely broken.
Hmmmm?
What?!
My own daughter!
Oh man!!!
Slow down!!!
i was trying to catch up with the blog but my family is calling for me theres lots to read so i'll have to just say hi for now and get back to you later love to everyone
robert
I was trying to catch up on the blog but my family is calling for me so i'll just have to say hi for now and get back to you later
love to all
robert
Oh, yes, Mary-Ellen! How many eulogies remain so vivid 12 years after they are written? Yet Heather's hopes for Dad are renewed often.... and definitely whenever one of us catches a glimpse of the moon's tranquil sea.
Welcome, with your ever-clever responses, Ed! Don't wait too long to forward Bob those pictures you have put on your list of things to do. You'll be amazed at how he can work with the images you send his way.
Rob, it seems that there will always be lots to read whenever you log onto the blog. Just keep letting us know you're there, even if we are exhausting you with our chatter back and forth. I assure you, you get a laugh every time you head off to bed.
Therese, try as I might, I can't seem to find a better version of LOUISE than your own accurate observation: Lingering on until I see everyone. In fact, my "Thanks" heartily endorses refreshingly exact sister's entry.
Now, for my next riddle:
INSPIRATION SHOWED THE WAY
FOR PRAYER TO BLEND WITH ART THAT DAY.
Luv, Lucy
I've been in surveilence waiting for the next riddle to get my guess in first. This one could be mom making her first fimo rosary. I should go to bed now, Deanie will be waking soon.
Sorry,
Too tired to close.
Hi Lucy,
I agree that Therese's version of your name is brilliant (and unbeatable).
I love your riddles; I hope they never end.Good thing we have such a large family. You certainly have material to work with, and you've proved that you have the inspiration. Keep on rhymin'.
Love, BJ
Lucy here.
You know it, Edward! There was a day when Mom was inspired to create her first fimo rosary. Over 600 rosaries later, Mom still gives all the glory to God. Those of us who have one (or more) of Mom's hand-made rosaries admire her artistry and delicate touch. We treasure these unique gifts, made for us in prayer and love. Way to go, Mom . . . and thank God, of course!
Yo, BJ... my riddles are as much for the memories as for the solving and they just keep right on coming.
Here's the latest one:
THE FAMILY'S FUTURE HOPES WERE LIFTED;
NO ORGAN PLAYED, BUT....ONE WAS GIFTED!
Lots of love, Louise
i guess timing is everything, i get to guess this one lucy, marcia's, kidney to tony, i'll never forget how grateful tony and carols children were, that memory will be with me forever. thanks again marcia, you generous, wonderful, loving person.
love mike
Hey everyone, just got back from Calgary dropping a load off and got
to spend a few hours with AL, Melissa and my little buddy Bjorn. I never thought I would run into a snow storm getting there in Late July.
You might be an Antonini or related to one if you get up in the middle of the night to use the washroom and you quickly check to see if anyone has left a new message on the blog!!!!!!!!
Louise you got me crying again!!!!!
Lucy,
Me too!!!!!
BJ
This is especially for Lou. His contest was great fun and I realize he got to hear everybody's guesses but... he didn't have the experience, fun and frustration of guessing, so...tomorrow morning I will post clues for 16 songs, I'm including dad this time. Anybody is welcome to join Lou and there may be one or two that need collaboration.
Lucy here, Mike.
Wow, not only was your timing perfect, so was your response to my latest riddle! Now, let me compose myself before I continue.
Believe it or not, nine years have passed since Marcia and Tony's January 22, 1998 transplant surgeries. As you say, Mike ... the impact of what happened on that day will be "with us forever". Marcia's selfless gift to Tony and his humble acceptance of her kidney have meant that the rest of us have continued to enjoy the healthy presence of Tony and Marcia in our lives to this very day. We applaud both of them and their courageous families!
Lui and BJ . . . I won't tell you not to cry. (Although that advice from such a source might turn your tears to laughter.)
Paul, I had no idea that you were as addicted to the blog as the rest of us. Go back to bed now!
Ed, we'll all be up early tomorrow morning to get a head start on Lui. Is there any way that you can give him a handicap, like they do in golf?
In the meantime, let's try another riddle:
TAPES MAY CLEARLY MEASURE SIZE
BUT THIS ONE HID A HUGE SURPRISE!
Love, Louise
This would be the Family of Song tape, on which Marty was able to add the missing family members without telling the group on the tape.
Like mike says...Good Timing
Ed
Someone, I won't mention any names, has asked I give Lou a handicap like they do in golf.
OK. I've got it.
Lou can only use his putter to type his answers. Hah!
Gee, I just had a thought...if he types like me, that won't slow him down.
Ed
Good advice BJ! I get up at 5:30, but I need my first cup of coffee before noon, thanks.
I'm still trying to figure out Lou's first song contest, even after seeing the answers!!!
By the way, you might be an Antonini if you find the doorknob to your bedroom in the junk drawer.
Tony
Hey Everyone,
Lui's in Las Vegas right now so maybe we all can get a headstart on Ed's contest, if I can get these tears to stop running down my face!
I"ve got to say it again:
NAME DOG DOWER!
Thanks for being my family,
ME xoxoxoxooxoxoxox
Here's a warm up for my quiz.
You'll all be this when I've finally finished typing out my quiz and posted it. They keep your body from moving to the best of it's ability.
I hear the good news is Lou is in Vegas. The bad news is he'll probably have the quiz in his hands for a 3 hour flight back to Calgary.
Lui's in Las Vegas, eh? You might be an Antonini... if you take this blog on the road!
Love, BJ
Hey ed
I haven't figured out your clue yet and i might stand a chance
if i start guessing at your songs right now
woh ho ho - tony, doorknobs in a junkdraw - NOW THATS FUNNY!!!
melissa and holly, you might want to mark that one down, and i got one of lucy's riddles, please make a note of that too.
ed, could you throw in a couple of elton john tunes please.
mary ellen - thanks for the heads up on lou.
lucy - i love lucy
rob - you have to wait for eds clues before you start guessing the songs.
b.j. - you might be an antonini if you love kneeocky
luv mike
oh ya and paul its 9 p.m saturday night are you outta bed yet - taxi!!!
You know what I love about this family?.... EVERYTHING!
I have had to leave to go to the bathroom 3 times, but I finally got through all 389 posts! You people are amazing - I think we should keep the blog going even after the party.
Mom - wish I could help you octuple your popcorn recipe, but I know it'll be a labour of love for you!
Marce, I finally got in the game: Magnificent impending celebration has elicited laughter - excellent!!
As BJ has been known to say, looking forward to drinking in your faces. Love to you all,
Michele
P.S. If you have at least one fimo miniature or fimo rosary... you might be an Antonini
P.P.S
If you hope for a Rice Krispy birthday cake instead of chocolate... you might be an Antonini!
Ok - I'm addicted. ME - this one goes out especially for you:
YOU DREAM DOG ON!!
Over and out for now - can't wait to catch up in the am - oh wait it is morning here in Ontario already!
Welcome Michele,
It's great to see you on the blog and I loved your response to Marcia's contest. It's exactly what's happening -- lots of laughter! ( and a few tears, too ).
I also loved your " you might be an Antonini......" entries.
And you are so right ....GO WED MAN DORE!!
Love to all,
ME xoxoxoxo
Oops Michele,
I just realized your anangram was a tad different, so I say to you,
"OUR GOOD MEN DAY".
Much love,ME xoxoxoxo
Lucy here, again.
Yes, Edward. Marty's musical and artistic accomplishments are too many to number but this emotionally-charged gift to Mom and Dad, with its delightful songs and its hidden messages, still has the power to move its listeners to tears. We're a Family of Song!
I'm definitely in the wrong time zone here. I go to bed and the rest of you are just moving into high gear; I get up in the morning and everyone else is sleeping while I scramble to catch up.
Ed ... getting Lui to use his putter to type his answers is a good idea as long as I can send him my old 3" x 2" keyboard. (By the way, I had Lou's quiz in hand for the 9 hour flight to Glasgow and I made no progress at all.)
Tony ... I'm with you on that first song contest; I think I understand 8 of 15 now. I'm on a roll; how are you doing? Do you want to swap ideas?
Mary-Ellen ... once more, I agree: WOE GRAND DOME!
Mike ... and Lucy loves U!
Michele ... You're a welcome addition to our family blog site. Mary-Ellen is spot on: ODE ANY GUM DOOR!
Can you stand another riddle?
LAST AND FIRST ARRIVED TO PAY
UNIQUE FUNDING DUE THAT DAY.
LOLOL, Louise
P.S. Ed, are you sure that you've ordered enough straight-jackets to go around? I suppose Tony is already figuring out the additional cost to each of us for this latest required item.
LOL, Lucy
P.P.S....Melissa, where are you? We're nearing the 400 mark.
So , we need 16 song titles and the performer ( I added one for Dad). Each one relates in some way to the family member it is beside. ( I stole that whole sentence from Lou with a couple minor changes) It saved me about half an hour typing except I just wasted 45 minutes explaining that I did it.
I better get on with it, I only have four hours before I meet the kids at mass. The songs are all songs from the 50’s and 60’s so, sorry youngsters, you’ll just have to do the best you can. I believe these are quite a bit easier than Lou’s although there may be one or two tough ones.
Disclaimer: I assume no responsibility for the consequences of obsessive behavior.
The Quiz:
Dad- He had lots of these. I like to think most parents do.
Mom- She’d ask 5 times a week if she lived on the first floor. Real TV teems.
BJ- Her and Bob would go here together sometimes. Sidney has something in common.
Vic- It’s how I feel at 11 after 3, Deanie agrees. Chances are everyone would .
Louise- Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Port Alice...She could say this. Now it’s the Steading (East Sands)
ME-This is probably good advice for Mary-Ellen. Ad this for excitement.
Tony-He’s never too far from these. You'll all have to look hard to find this one.
Lou- With the number of heartaches they’ve had. You could probably find them doing this.
Ed-I think about it even before work starts each day. Exotic woods are popular right now.
Marcia- A few say she isn’t but the rest say she is. A recipe for fun.
Chris- I hear she planted one in the middle of the stage when her group performed this one. ET would have also liked these.
Mike-He’s not likely to sell this. One or more of us have had one or more.
Marty-He’s so busy it’s hard to find out what he’s been up to. As close as Diana.
Len- I imagine he sees this at work. Forest fires can even make a mountain look black.
Therese- Both Mary and Christine provide her with lots of these. A little like us, myself and Marcia in particular.
Rob- When work is over...so is Rob. All 16 of us could be seated.
Good Luck
