The Lumsden Scarecrow Festival was a big hit for this little family and friends about to ride through town spotting scarecrow displays. We were lucky enough to see a real deer feeding on a berry bush in one of the yards. What can I say, they're meant to scare off crows not deer. Have a great October.

Hi Everyone,
I love the October picture, Ed. Thanks for putting it on.
It's another beautiful Fall day in Calgary - what's it doing in the other parts of the world?
Love,
ME xoxoxoxo
Hi All,
It is cool and windy in Ottawa. We reached a high of about 10 today and there is rain and cold in the forecast.
Great picture, Ed.
Bright, sunny and pleasant in Austin. Warm days, cool nights. We got up to about 35°C yesterday.
It's sunny, dry, windy and cold (+5 degrees) in St. Andrews. The Pro-Am, Alfred Dunhill Cup is being played here, in Carnoustie and at Kingsbarns from the 2nd to the 5th.
David is a travelling marshall on the Old Course on all four days. By the time he arrives home in the late afternoon, he needs a warming drink.
Love, Lucy
Happy Birthday, Brandon!
We hope you have wakened to what Mary Ellen describes as "another beautiful Fall day in Calgary". (You would not want to be celebrating anything in St. Andrews on this cold, wet, blustery morning.)
Saturday birthdays can be special if you have the day off and can spend it with your family. We hope that is the case for you, Dana, Jack and Davis.
However you plan to spend your day, we hope it is just the beginning of another good year for you and for your family. That's our Happy Birthday toast on this October 4th. Cheers, Brandon!
Lots of love,
Louise and David
Congratulations to Dustin, on receiving his CGA.( Certified General Accountant). His name and picture are in the Saskatoon Star Phoenix today, and Vic saw it and let me know. I imagine it's also in the Regina Leader Post.
Way to go Dustin!! What an accomplishment!
Happy Birthday Brandon. Hope you have a great day!

Hi, Mary Ellen,
Thanks for the news contained in your greeting to Dustin. We don't get the Star Phoenix or the Leader Post here in St. Andrews. That's where the blog comes in so handy.

I am assuming that we did not win the bird quiz prize. When the answers arrive, I will post them here on the blog.
The 'Heart of Fife' Regional District Association is circulating a PLACES IN SCOTLAND quiz. Margaret paid our £1.00 entry fee. The draw will be made on October 27.
The odd-numbered clues are anagrams of places; the even are facts about Scotland. I live here and I am struggling to find the answers. I believe that many minds will make light work.
The opening example is:
Birthplace of Robert Burns(7) - Alloway
Here are the odd numbered clues:
1. A DINGY STEW (10)
3. ALLOW IF TRIM (4,7)
5. LORD LED MUM (10)
7. GLOW IN HILT (10)
9. BLUNT DRAINS (11)
11.BLUSHING ORC (11)
13.BODY RICH GOFER (6,2,5)
15.INSERT THANKS (12)
17.WINKED SOON (10)
19.STALLED CLOWN (12)
21.ACRED BIGOT (10)
23.ROAST NEWT (9)
Lucy
....and here are the even-numbered clues:
2. Lanarkshire town home to the hightest golf course in Scotland.(9)
4. Ayrshire town birthplace of the pneumatic tyre inventor John Dunlop.(8)
6. Village in Moray home to food producers 'Baxters'.(9)
8. Birth town of dance band leader Sir Jimmy Shand.(4,6)
10. East Lothian town scene of a battle in 1745.(11)
12. First place in the UK to have a confirmed case of Avian Flu, in 2006. (10)
14. Birthplace of King Charles I.(11)
16. Town in Moray where Walker's Famous Shortbread is made.(8)

22. Town where the 1960's series 'Dr. Finlay's Casebook' was filmed.(9)
24. Winner of the 'BEST KEPT SMALL TOWN IF FIFE' Award, 2008.(11)
Lucy
Hi Lucy,
Yikes. This is a quiz that we probably have no chance of winning. However, that doesn't prevent me from taking a stab at it. I will have to rely mostly on the Internet as I know very little about places in Scotland.
I will leave the anagrams until I have time to resort to one of my several Atlases, but I submit these ones for the even numbers.
4. DREGHORN
8. EAST WEMYSS
10 PRESTONPANS
12. CELLARDYKE
14. DUNFERMLINE
16. ABERLOUR
18. CULLEN
20. GALASHIELS
22. CALLANDER
24. GLENROTHES
I think we may have to depend on Margaret for quite a few of the answers. Is she working on it too?
Love, BJ
Places in Scotland quiz:
2. LEADHILLS
6. FOCHABERS
BJ
Again, I am using the Internet.
Scotland quiz odd numbers:
1. WINDYGATES
5. OLDMELDRUM
7. LINLITHGOW
9. BURNTISLAND
11.COLINSBURGH
21.COATBRIDGE
23.STEWARTON
BJ
My gosh, BJ! I posted these clues just before we left to take a friend to Dundee for a medical appointment. You have solved 19 of the 24 in record time. That is amazing.
Yes, Margaret is working on the quiz as well but she and I just make contact on the weekend when she comes from Cupar to spend time with her parents. She will probably be very surprised at our (your) progress in so short a time.
In the meantime, I have an answer of my own:
2. FORT WILLIAM
That's 20 down and 4 to go.
Love, Lucy
13. BRIDGE OF ORCHY (a hotel, I think)
BJ
Yep, I see it's on the map, BJ. We have just 3 anagrams left. They should be easy for a Scot but they're not.
Lucy
15. STRATHKINNES

Scotland quiz:
#19. SCOTLANDWELL
BJ
BJ
I was still chuckling when I wakened this morning and recalled Kenneth and Marty's humour in filling in the missing letters of your message to Sonia. What a hoot!
I also had to check to see if Scotlandwell is a real place; turns out that it is not so far away from home!
I'm wondering if there is a printing error in #17. I get Kinnesswood but there is only one S in the clue. What do you think?
Love, Lucy
Lucy,
I also got Kinnesswood, but figured they would have told us if there were an error. Do you know of any places that end in 'side' or 'dine'? Maybe Margaret will know.
Love, BJ
Lucy,
I just checked again and Kinneswood is spelled with one 's'. So you've got the last one! Well done.
Love, BJ
Hmm...I guess there are two spellings. My atlas definitely lists Kinnesswood with 2 s's. But you're right, Google shows it with one s as well. That's good enough for me.
Lucy
BTW...there is still no word on the birds...
Lucy,
Would you believe that Kinnesswood is 28.2 miles west from you and Kinneswood is 122 miles north. So they are 2 different places, not 2 spellings of the same place! Amazing!
Lucy,
PS: I think you should visit both of them.
Love, BJ
I'll do that, BJ...all in good time. Thanks for clearing up the problem of the s's.
Love, Lucy
PS...expect a postcard!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, THERESE!
I have a little sister
Who is 48 years old!
And I have to ask the question:
How did all those years unfold?
But no matter what the answer,
You've arrived at this fine day;
And we hope your current birthday
Is the best in every way.
Here's our toast of celebration:
To your work and play and song;
To your family, friends and others;
To your joy the whole day long!
Lots of love and warm wishes,

Please tell me you saw the Texas/OU game today.

Well, the bird quiz results are in. We correctly answered 25 of 35 clues. The teacher in me makes that 71% this time around!
Here are the 10 birds we did not identify. I'll give the original clue, (our response) and then the CORRECT ANSWER.
2. Sounds painful. (Whip-poor-will) WRYNECK
12. Can support ruin. (Pelican) MARTIN
20. A left count. (Toucan) RED POLL
25. Could this be a window for Midas? (Goldeneye) GOLDEN ORIOLE
28. Cut the cackle. (Grackle) STONECHAT
29. Once worn by judges [hist.] (Wigeon) BLACKCAP
30. Have you noticed Pinocchio's nose? (Grosbeak) SPOTTED WOODPECKER
31. Is this hunter as close as a Kentish one? (Marsh Harrier) OYSTER CATCHER
32. This plucky fellow gains a point. (Brant) HERON
35. Why ring Eve's number first? (Veery) WREN
We've got some good answers of our own. I'm amazed that anyone ever gets them all right. Anyway, that's it folks!
LOL, Lucy
Thanks for the answers, Lucy.
25 out of 35 is better than our last one (15 1/2 out of 30) so maybe we are improving. The correct answers are better than ours, but like you, I am amazed anyone gets them all right. I don't get MARTIN for #12. Can you explain?
When is the deadline for the Scotland Places? What does Margaret think of our answers to those?
Love BJ
Hi BJ
I think the answer for "can support ruin" is MAR for ruin and TIN for can. The answer I don't understand is OYSTER CATCHER. No explanations were included. What do you think? (BTW...my favorite is the SPOTTED WOODPECKER.)
The draw date for the Places in Scotland quiz is October 27. Margaret and I have not discussed the answers yet. She is on a school break for the next two weeks and will be away for some of time. If she and I get a chance to look at the answers together, I'll let you know what she thinks.
I already expect full marks. I don't see how we can go wrong on this one....FLW
Love, Lucy
Lucy,
Famous last words, indeed!
I am sure there is some difficulty in this Scotland quiz that we have not seen. However, it was fun solving it.
Thanks for the Martin--so easy once you explain it. I think the Oyster Catcher reference is to a kayak known as the Kentish Oyster Catcher. Pretty obscure, but so were many of them.

Here's my latest charity shop experience:
I went into the Heart Foundation Shop to look through pottery, glassware and ornaments. At one end of the shelf, I spotted a large, blue globe; it looked like a crystal ball of some sort.
I was quite curious about the item so I picked it up to have a closer look. As I did so, it began to play a bright, little melody. I quickly put the ball back into its velvet-lined case and moved along to examine other things on display.
Before long, I returned to the fascinating globe and picked it up once more. Sure enough, the catchy tune played again, as if on cue.
This time, I turned the sphere around in my hand and asked a nearby clerk what I was doing to trigger the music from within.
"Oh", she said, "I think that must be a cel phone in your purse!"
Yep! (David was trying to locate me in the downtown area.)
LOL, Lucy
Lucy
LAUGHING OUT LOUD!!!!!!! One of life's little ticklers.
Did you buy the globe?
Love, BJ
No, BJ, I went outside to return Dave's call and decided not to go back into the store at that time. The next day, the mysterious globe was gone. I will never know for sure what it was.
BTW... Rule #1 in Charity Shop buying is: If you like it, buy it then and there.
Lucy
Oh man. The blue globe story just made my day. I actually did laugh out loud in my office.
The greater mystery, of course, is how did Dave know when you were lifting the ball? Be wary.
Kenneth,
At first, I also wondered: "How did that happen?" I have since decided that Dave's timing was just a very funny coincidence.
Lucy
I guess the right thing would have been to ask the clerk (when she said it must be your cell phone): "But how does the sphere know my number?"
You guys are too-o-o-o funny!
Laughing out loud,
ME xoxoxo
What Mary Ellen said...........
Love, BJ
Just checked in and as much as I would like to say something intellegent , interesting, puzzling or funny, all I can say is you guys are off the map!
Love to everyone.
BTW I am still beating off the guy with the big black cape and the ominous sythe.
TBone
Here's a little tidbet:
Lou will definitely identify (AS MAY lOUISE)
I was on my way to Saskatoon for one of my regular bimonthly checkupswhen I was overcome with the urge ( you know! the URGE). I pulled into the ESSO at Davidson and rushed into the nearest stall I could find. Unfortunately it was locked and I was relegated to the next stall in line. As I lowered myself into a familiar comfortable position, the sellow in thge next stall intervened:
"Hi!"
Not wanting to appear unsocialable I replied "hi there".
"So what are you up to?" was the other's response.
"I'm on my way to Saskatoon." was my tentative answer. I received no immediate reply.
After a brief silence my 'friend' in the next stall uttered the embarrasing words:
" I'LL HAVE TO CALL YOU BACK; THE ASHOLE IN THE NEXT STALL APPARENTLY WANTS TO GET IN ON OUR CONVERSATION."
You guessed it! Cell phone syndrome!!!!!!!!
Tone
Honestly, Tony, you make an already funny story even funnier in the telling. In fact, I can hardly wait to hear your personalized version of my blue-ball experience. Go for it!
BTW...in trying to help me get over my embarrassment David said, "It could have been worse, Louise. What if you had bought the ball and then tried to return it because it wasn't working anymore?"
LOL, Lucy
That's good, Kenneth!
I wish I could be as quick on the comebacks as you are. I might have turned an embarrassing moment into a bit of fun for myself and the volunteer staff member. Instead I mumbled something like, "oh....", fumbled for my phone and made a quick exit from the store.
Come to think of it, I'll bet that volunteer is out there somewhere, telling her side of the story, too.
Lucy
I love these cell phone stories. Does anyone else have a cellexperience to tell? So far we have the Toilet Stall and The Blue Sphere. I wish I had one to relate, but I don't. Any takers.
Love,BJ
Dave Barry:
A study by researchers at the University of Utah proves what many people have long suspected: Everybody talking on a cell phone, except you, is a moron.
You timed that quote perfectly, Kenneth.
BTW...I like Dave Barry's sense of humor. Your quote reminded that I have his book, Dave Barry's Bad Habits, on my shelf. BJ gave it to me and it is always good for a laugh.

Hi all!
I would tell a funny cell phone story....but I don't think I need to.... since so many people were there at Len's cabin that fateful night in August last year :)
poor toilet.
poor len.
poor kelly.
poor me - len gave me the phone back....
anyways.... my message does have a purpose.
It's like a contest in a way (well not really, but since i say contest, it will be competitive and then I will get the info i am looking for!!!
I am looking for everyone's mailing address..... not emailing address. actual street, mail a letter kinda address.
Cory would like all your addresses...
You could email them to me at sbanin@regina.ca or just put them on the blog!
Thanks,
Sonia
Sonia,
We'd still like to hear your version of the poor toilet...poor me incident.
BTW...We're sending our address to your email but we'd still like a count of how many addresses you get - from direct and indirect sources. (Some of us have very comprehensive lists).
Ooops...there's that competitive nature coming out in me again.
Louise
Well.... I may as well relive the story...
It was a fine August Night out at Len's cabin. Lots of family there from all over, everyone had settled in after a long walk and some interesting kite flying...I believe it was a reunion of some type..
The night was winding down, there was some wonderful keyboard playing and songs being sung...
My dad and I decided it was time to head back to Regina. What's a trip back into town without a trip to the bathroom first? So off I go into the cabin. No line-up at the stall. Perfect!
(okay so now we wait - this part of the story is private) (insert Jeopary music here)
Okay, so it's time to flush. Now - everyone who has been in the bathroom at the cabin knows it is a confined space. So, as I leaned over to flush, a well executed synchronized moment occured.
As the handle went down and the water started swirling, I saw my cell phone slip out of my bunny hug and plop into the vortex of spinning water....
First instinct. I plunged my hand into the water to get the phone...but it was a lost cause. It went down with the ship.
Oh oh, I had to tell Len. As I walk out of the bathroom - laughing - what else can I do? I encounter Bonnie - she found it quite amusing too...
I break the news to Len - no problem - we think it would be funny to call the septic tank, see if we can hear it. So imagine Len and I leaning down at the septic tank, just waiting to hear the ring...nothing. That took some of the fun out it.
We check the toilet. It flushes fine. Me and dad go home. Cellphoneless.
The next day at Campion Len finds me and tells me he has something for me. Hands me my cell phone...not in a bag or anything, just hands it to me. yuck - there was toilet paper on it still.
I wondered how he would have got it out of the septic tank?? oh, it wasn't in there after all! It got stuck in the toilet....the bendy part....the part that when they had to take it off and try to shake the phone of it and that wouldn't work so poor Amy had to stick her hand in there and pull it out.... that part.
poor amy...
poor everyone else who was going to stay overnight at the cabin, they had no toilet!
And if anyone is wondering...i had to get a new phone....that one had shi!!y reception after all that....
Thanks for the tale, Sonia. Since I wasn't trying to retrieve the phone, or staying overnight I can laugh out loud.
Maybe you should get a cord for your cordless phone so it stays attached to you.
Love, BJ
Thanks Sonia,
I especially like your closing line. That's what delivers the full impact of any good story. Your tale of woe is a keeper for sure (even if your cellphone had to be replaced).
LOL, Louise
Cheers for the Vancouver Island Raiders - BC Football Conference champions!

Martay, congrats on making Page 1 of the Bugle. Now you really need a Web site.
Man, I wish I had seen that TX-OK game, but I wasn't expecting a starting time of 10 a.m. (normally, the only game that starts at that time is the classic Thanksgiving TX-TX A&M game).
I did watch them thump Mizzou (between innings of the ALCS) this past weekend, though, and the good news is now that TX is ranked #1, we should get to see more games including this Saturday night's matchup against #6 Oklahoma State (if we get home in time from the Riders game, of course).
And speaking of baseball. Game 5 was a doozy. After coming back from 7 down with 7 outs to go, I thought maybe Boston had another miracle up their sleeves.
Congrats to Campbell on the B.C. championship. Good football news around although I would be happier is Sask would have handed Hamilton a thrashing. This quarterbacking by committee thing is a little worriesome.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Your cell phone stories are just what I needed this morning, keep 'em coming.
Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), I can't contribute because I am now, apparently, the only person on the planet who doesn't have one.
Hey Thomas
I have to admit, your cell phone story is the funniest. HA HA HA HA
HA HA HA HA AH ARG snort...you don't have a cell phone...that's good.
The football paintings will be posted shortly. Sorry folks...I got kinda busy.
MSA
Marty,
I am looking forward to seeing the paintings, although my chances of winning are not looking good. Sigh...

7. BUG
8. ZEBRA
13. GOAT
14. TIGER

BJ
4. LEOPARD
20. COW
21. MANDRILL
BJ
9. HORSE
Wow!
I have been away from my computer for just half a day and the latest quiz is close to being solved. Well done, BJ!
I think Lynx looks good for #15. However, I don't understand CONY for #12 or PANDA for #22. I'm quite slow on this one.
Luv, Lucy
Hi Lucy,
# 22. A panda is a small police car in Britain. I know this from the British TV shows I've watched and the British mysteries I've read.
I think #12 is iffy. Cony or coney. Con artist for swindler and ey or y for the sound of eeek? It's pretty weak.
16. F(INCH)
5. SNAKE OR SKUNK (OILS)?
BJ
BJ,
I didn't know that in Britain, a small police car can be called a panda. Now that I think of it, I can see why.
I think #26 should be jackass rather than jackal. I also wonder why FINCH for #16 and GULL for #30? I'm not coming up with any answers myself, sorry.
Lucy
How about CHEETAH for #12?
Lucy
And OX for #15?
CAMEL for #2? (ie: came for arrived and L for learner)
Lucy
Lucy,
OX is brilliant for #15. So is CHEETAH for #12.
Camel is perfect for # 2, as is jackass for #26.
One definition of gull is a person who is easily fooled or deceived; a dupe; it can also be used as a verb; Hence my rationalization for #30.
Finch is one of my iffy ones. Inch is part of a foot and finch seemed to fit better than chinchilla or rhinoceros, both of which have the word 'inch' in them. I am not happy with any of them. I was hoping you could set me straight. I also don't like my answer for #5. See if you can come up with something better.
Love, BJ
Thanks, BJ, I'm glad to be contributing a bit to this latest quiz.
BTW...I have been considering KID for #30 and OTTER for #16 ("utter" for gasp and "toe" for the part of foot that confuses things OTtEr). I am still working on #5, too.
We're making better progress on this one than I had hoped. Remember, tomorrow is the draw for the Places in Scotland quiz.
Lucy
Did you know that here in Scotland we put our clocks back an hour last night? Maybe that's why I am already inclined to call it a day.
Lucy,
Otter is good for #16. I like gull better for #30 because it is more deceitful than kid (which is a more playful kind of teasing). However, having said that, I think kid is the correct answer because it is an animal, and gull is a bird. So, let's go with kid.
BJ
It may seem to you I never try your puzzles but I am here, I just never get anything...however, going over this list I was knocked over by a buffalo at #30.
Very funny, Ed, and clever, too...BUFFALO it is!
In the meantime, I am considering LAMB for #5. I found the letters of lamb in the word "blame", googled Lamb Petrol and discovered that there is a chain of Lamb Petrol stations here in Scotland. There is also something called a Lamb petrol lamp. What do you think, BJ; shall we trade LAMB for SNAKE or SKUNK?
Lucy
Absolutely to both Lucy and Ed! Clever and correct. Let's go with both of them. Are we finished now or are there still some doubtful answers?
Love, BJ
We are finished. Every blank has been filled. Numbers 5 and 16 are still a bit of a stretch for me but the October 31st deadline is looming.
We have until tomorrow morning to make any changes. The entry envelope is ready to go but is still unsealed.
Lucy
Lucy,
I like LAMB for #5, but how about ELEPHANT for #16. If you take 'heel' for part of foot, and 'pant' for gasp it anagrams as elephant. I like it better than otter. What do you think.
Love, BJ
BJ,
I am so much happier with ELEPHANT than I was with OTTER for #16. For me, it is the difference between knowing we have the right answer and wondering what else it could be.
We sure did a good job of completing this quiz in time to enter Friday's draw.
Love, Lucy
So, another quiz finished and dispatched. The fun is certainly in the solving and any time any one wants to post a puzzle I am game.
Love, BJ
Yes, BJ,
I posted our latest quiz to Kingskettle, Fife at noon today.
So, what's next, folks?
LOL, Lucy
Happy Birthday, Joshua!
We send you warm greetings from St. Andrews, Scotland on this frosty fall morning. You may be far away from us in fact but you are alive and well in our thoughts today.
We hope that you and Abby are able to take time for a mid-week celebration in the midst of your busy lives. These special occasions come and go with great regularity and speed. Enjoy your 31st birthday as much as you possibly can.
We raise a toast to you, Josh ... and to your health and your happiness in the year ahead. Cheers!
Lots of love,
Louise and David
Hi Lucy,
Enjoy your frosty morning. We have 20cm of snow and winds up to 70 km/h. Most unusual for Ottawa this early in the year.
What is the weather like in everyone else's little corner of the world?
BJ
It is very nice in Regina today! Supposed to get to 19 today.....
It will be nice for the O'Neill vs Notre Dame football game tonight! Go Titans Go!
Sonia
Hi All,
Here in Calgary, the skies are blue, the sun is bright, and it's quite warm for this time of year. I was surprised to see that Ottawa has their first snowfall before we do. It's almost always the other way around! However, Bob Barker tells me that it will be +16 by the end of the week, so that snow won't be there for long.
Halloween is fast approaching and I can't believe how many houses here are decorated to the nines. This is a new trend and some houses are decked out as much as at Christmas, except spo-o-o-o-oky!
Talking about Halloween;

We're having a bit of a cold spell, too. It got down close to freezing last night (maybe 3°C).
I blame my sister Louise for bringing such Canadian temperatures to Texas. (She and Steve visited us Monday night-Tuesday... I'll see if I can post the photos tonight).
Anyway. It's pretty nice today. Right now it's about 20°C and sunny.
Here are a couple of photos of Louise and Steve's (short) visit to Austin.

Thanks for the link to your pictures, Kenneth. It was fun to see Louise and Steve in their riding gear, catch another glimpse of your piano with Johanne's art displayed on the wall beyond, and share a few choice images of a terrific (though all-too-short)family visit.
BTW....your captions add info, interest and even a touch of humour. Also, I couldn't help but notice the large Canadian flag in the background.
Love, Louise
Good pictures, Kenneth.
Pictures of the house bring back happy memories.
The motorcycles let me see the adventurers are on their way home.
And, Louise's music teacher is not fooled by the set-up.
Thanks.
Love, Mom
Happy Halloween everyone!!
Thanks Sonia,
The witching hour is almost upon us now. We wish all of our treat-or-treating blogatives a ghoulishous Halloween night!
The results are in on the Scottish Towns quiz. We got all of the answers correct this time but did still not win a prize. 100% is reward enough, eh?
BTW...Margaret did win a £5 voucher for her entry in the same contest. Maybe we are getting closer to having a completely correct entry form, drawn first!!! Let's see what today's animal quiz brings.....
LOL, Lucy
Lucy,
It's great that we got all the answers. Getting them all right is the real prize. Winning is just luck (first out of the hat). Or do they go by who submits the correct answers first?
Love, BJ
Happy Birthday, Michael!
Have a fun Saturday celebration with Geron, Logan and Penny. A birthday is such a nice way to start a weekend... and a brand new month, for that matter.
We hope you have set aside the whole day to do all the special things that you enjoy doing with family and friends.
Here in St. Andrews, we toast you, Mike, on your November 1st birthday. Cheers!
Love and best wishes,
Louise and David
BJ,
As far as I know, all of the quiz responses go into the same hat. On the day of the draw, the first completely correct entry to be drawn wins the prize.
Some of the organizations return our entry form with corrections but others simply send me an answer key.
