Lucy, Do you mean because of its shape? I like the fact than RHINO has RIO in it which is Spanish for River, but what about the HN? I have been trying to anagram rio or Nile, or other river names with pipe, tube, cask, etc. but nothing seems to fit. RHINO is the best we have yet, but still seems a bit of a stretch.
BJ, I'm happy with all of our responses. I have 3 quizzes to drop in the mail today. Some aren't due until the fall but they are better sent now than lost in the shuffle.
Congratulations! We hope today's celebrations, however fleeting, are filled with memories, enjoyment and promise.
Here in St. Andrews, we will pour ourselves a wee dram of a fine single-malt scotch and raise it high in an toast to you. Its quality and warmth will linger, and we will remember you with pleasure. Cheers!
It's a sunny Sunday morning here in St. Andrews. We're hoping that you can say the same about the weather at Echo Lake. We wish you a warm and bright day for your birthday celebrations.
As for us, we will golf, garden and then relax as we raise a toast to your good health and well-being. Cheers to you and Lorraine on this special day in June!
Today we are celebrating with you, and with Isles and Margaret. You are not only our neighbours and friends; you are also our family here in St. Andrews.
We know that, through Margaret, you are regular visitors to Ed's Edition. So, from right next door and from around the world, we wish you a very happy day, Peggy.
To be so healthy and happy at 86 is wonderful. Cheers and congratulations!
Congratulations on this anniversary of your transplant surgery. One year ago today, you began a particularly scary part of your journey. It is wonderful for us to have today's perspective, 12 months down the road.
From the outside, looking in, we want to celebrate the awesome outcome with you. We cannot even imagine how you are feeling - from the inside, looking out. Well done, you!
We are remembering you today as you celebrate your birthday in Victoria. You are certainly in a beautiful place where you can enjoy good times with some of the special people in your life. Who could ask for more?
Across the miles, we join your friends and family in toasting your good health and happiness today. Cheers!
According to our Book of Days, it's "TIN for TEN". Fittingly, that soft metal symbolizes flexibility, durability and preservation.
We toast you as you celebrate the first decade of your marriage to one another: Congratulations! May your love continue to meet the test of time and grow with each passing year. Cheers!
This is your "Steel" anniversary. That solid, malleable alloy might well stand for your own firm and happy marriage.
We will be raising a celebratory toast to you and to your children, Emmanuel, Grace-Anne and Hannah-Lynn on this special day for the Weisgerber family. Cheers!
Congratulations and lots of love, Louise and David
We hope you will have double the fun today as you celebrate your 39th birthday on Father's Day 2009.
We toast your health and happiness on your birthday, Michael. In doing so, we also join Zachary, Noah and Jacob in honoring their Dad on Father's Day. Cheers!
You made a good choice when you picked this summer solstice date for your wedding two years ago. In a very special way, the first day of summer will always be a time of renewal and promise for the two of you.
COTTON is the order of the day on a second anniversary. In our toast, we wish you the strength and softness of that fibre as you continue to weave together the fabric of your lives.
I have just received word that Mom's good friend and our "honorary" aunt, May McPhee died in her Regina residence on Friday afternoon.

BJ, do you think that the river cylinder could be RHINO? It's the last clue in our animal quiz.

BJ, I was thinking of the Rhine River with the O being the cylinder.
Lucy,
Excellent! Rhino it is. So, are we finished or are there some we should revisit?
