I would like to come up with an excuse for not renewing the month, actually I have one , it's called procrastination. Here it is, a little late but in time for a few more birthdays.
Welcome back to your blog, Loved. We are happy to see you early or late. Lucy has an updated Family calendar, so the birthdays will definitely continue.
I agree with BJ, Ed; early or late, we are happy to start a new month on the blog.
I do, indeed, have the latest calendar that is generated from Bob's Antonini Family Tree. In fact, I'm already using it as 2011 draws to a close and the countdown to 2012 begins.
BTW...if you've ever wondered how I keep track of all those birthdays and anniversaries, wonder no more. Just get Bob to send you the calendar file and print yourself a copy right in your own home. As Thom would say, "easy-peasy".
Now, speaking of birthdays - there are two big ones today.
We are sending you warm greetings from Paul's home here on the shores of Lake Okanagan. Congratulations on your 60th birthday.
You are entering another exciting decade of your life. Like the decades of life that have gone before, the SIXTIES will hold their own surprises and delights for you.
May you celebrate today's milestone in joy and good health; and may the year ahead overflow with the love of your family and friends. Cheers!
Today it's official - you have reached the age of retirement. Congratulations!
Lots of discounts, concessions and privileges await you - the gifts of society to you at 65. I know from experience 'cause I'm four years ahead of you on life's road!
I am happy to be here in Westbank, sharing this special day with you. Tonight, at supper out with our good friends, Linda and Norm I'll raise a toast to the best 65 year-old husband in my world. Cheers!
Well... Margaret has sent us the results of one of our quiz entries - Characters in Fiction. We got all the answers correct but should have identified Mr. Tumnus specifically from The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe instead of from The Chronicals of Narnia in general.
Apparently, a woman from the city of Newburgh won the gift certificate for her entry form which was drawn first from all the correct ones.
We have results in on another quiz - the one about UK Birds and Wildlife. There were 40 clues but #4 was removed because of a typo error (Reads tat does not make Redstart even though it was the correct answer).
So out of 39 we scored 38. Apparently Robbie Burns wrote an Ode to a WOODLOUSE not to a BLACKBIRD as we had suggested.
That's another great score, though, and that quiz was a particularly tough one to crack.
We are happy to be in Calgary to celebrate your birthday with you today. It's too bad you have to put in a full day at work before we can "put the icing on the cake".
We're very lucky to have a son whose family is #1 who happily welcomes us whenever we come to visit.
With thanks in our hearts, we wish you a happy day today and a healthy, fulfilling year to come. Cheers!
We hear that you are getting a warm winter's day in Calgary for your birthday celebration.
We will be spending most of the day on the highway between Regina and Calgary. All along the way we'll be wishing you bright skies, clear roads and happy times.
Have a terrific birthday today, Bob. May it be just the start of another good year of life for you. Cheers!
Louise, grazie per gli auguri sul mio compleanno. Thanks for the ditto in Italian BJ. Turning 67 is even better than turning 66! It's a spectacular day here in Calgary. It almost feels like Spring! Hope everyone enjoys the day.
David & Louise, Thanks for the tanti cari saluti con molto affetto. Me too!I hope your trip goes smoothly and that you are able to enjoy the scenery in the Rockies.
It was very nice having a visit with you both when you were in Calgary. Thanks for everything.
You're welcome, ME! We enjoyed everything about our stay in Calgary during the festive season.
Our drive back through the mountain passes was not an easy one but we made it safely. We found ourselves waiting in tailbacks, skirting accident scenes and sliding around on fresh snow.
We can't complain, though. The roads of Alberta and Saskatchewan were especially kind to us this winter.
