February 2013
I hate cutting grass. I used to say I'd rather shovel snow off the driveway 5 times a week rather than cut grass once a week. That was during the winters I had to shovel it maybe a dozen times throughout the winter. This winter , now that I've been shovelling 5 times a week, and am running out of places to put it so I'm heaving it over 6 foot high banks, I'm changing my mind. I'd rather cut the grass. I'm actually looking forward to it, really, and I'm hoping it happens real soon.
Have a great day
Loved

Gosh, if the snow is that deep, the groundhog will probably not even be able to dig his way out in time to make his annual weather prediction.
That's okay, though, you may not want to know how many more days of shoveling snow will be required before you can go back to mowing the lawn.
No matter what, have a great day in sunny Saskatchewan.
Well, February days have begun to tick away and tomorrow we will be sailing out of Miami on the cruise ship, "Destiny". Internet service on board is intermittent, slow and costly so we will not be on line very often, if at all.
We will have Bob Barker's family calendar with us, though and we will be remembering the special occasions that family members will celebrate while we are at sea.We enjoy marking those happy days with a toast to the celebrants.
As we sign off Ed's Edition from February 4 to 22, we make mention here of the highlights we'll be hitting.

Before we go, we'd also like to make note of two other February dates:
...on the 9th, we will look for the moon in the sky over the Atlantic and raise a toast in honour of Dad on the anniversary of his death 18 years ago.
...on the 14th our thoughts will turn to family and friends around the world as we celebrate Valentine's Day with a heartfelt toast to LOVE. Cheers!
Bye now!
Louise and David
Happy February. But, hey wasn't it just Christmas yesterday? At this rate, Loved you will be cutting grass the day after tomorrow, and wishing you were shovelling snow. At least you didn't meet any icy disasters during the last month or we would be hearing about you falling on the ice, or being buried in the snow. Continue to stay healthy and try to avoid any mishaps for the whole month.
As Louise and Dave look for the moon tonight over the Atlantic, I'll be looking for it here in Calgary.I never look at the moon without thinking of Dad........the moon and Dad just go together!I miss him.
Love,
ME xoxoxoxo
Well, we have arrived in Italy after a wonderful 18-day cruise across the Atlantic and around the Mediterranean Sea. Family here in Pordenone have welcomed us warmly and we have 10 more days of travel and fun before we return to Scotland on March 4th.
It's nice to be back on the blog. We hope life is good for all of you wherever you are in the world.
Lots of love, Louise and Dave

BELATED BIRTHDAY GREETINGS, LOUISE!
We don't know how we managed to miss your March 20th birthday which is also the first day of spring. There should have been lots of seasonal reminders to mark your special day. Instead the winds blew and snow fell, seeming to put a hold on celebrations of any sort.
Anyway, we hope you had a good birthday yesterday, Louise. May all your tomorrows be filled with an abiding happiness that is rooted in love. Cheers!
Best wishes and lots of love.
Louise and David
