Not so late this time.
Once again, I made it through the month without any injuries, major ones anyways. There have been a few who are expressing disapproval of me being on my roof to remove snow. They state they are worried I might fall off and hurt myself, however, if they were paying attention they would notice that my feet would hit the snow before my behind left the building. Yep, my drifts are that high.
The son has a bit of work to do around my place.

Well, Ed, if I hadn't seen a picture of your house on Facebook I might have thought you were exaggerating. (Not that I would ever accuse you of stretching the truth!)
Anyway, I do believe you could step right onto your roof from the top of the snow drifts that have piled up around your home. Regina had better hope that the sun does not do too fast a job of clearing the snow. It looks to me like a slow. steady melt is in order there. Good luck!

Yesterday we received an email from the Antonini Canterin family in Pordenone. Angela (daughter of Silvano and Marina) had a baby girl on April 20. The baby's name is Sofia and she weighed just over 4kg at birth.
You may remember that Angela married Damiano Cassan in May 2011. Angela's mother sent all of us an announcement at that time and David and I went to Italy to attend the wedding.
Sofia is the first grandchild for Marina and Silvano. It goes without saying that this is a very exciting time for the whole family.
