Then, Lou๐ and a friend came for a golfing holiday, as well⛳. For us, those past events definitely qualify as "more moments"⏳ that added generous splatters of "paint to our canvasses"๐จ. They are a permanent part of our story now๐.

With so many people to contact it is difficult to make sure no one is left out and it is hard to know what is best. At least Ed’s edition is read by many family members so some will know before Tricia’s Tides is updated.
Tricia’s battle with cancer finally ended this morning at 2:35. Marie and I were both at her bedside at Rosedale Hospice and were able to say goodbye. Please let others know she went very peacefully.
Oh Lui and Marie! We love Tricia as one of our very own. This day hurts so much...
Your message has reached us half way around the world within just a few hours of Tricia's quiet departure. Thank you for this loving contact with us in the midst of your great sorrow.

I struggle to find the correct words to honor someone SO AMAZING and who taught us to live our best lives and to take things head on and to never give up - WE love you and praise you for all that you and your family has done you are All Heros. She will remain with many people who's lives she has touched she will never be forgotten.
Wow! This is news we've been preparing for a long time and yet it hits very hard. In 1980 Deanie and I moved back to Regina from Calgary. Marie found the house for us on 14 Wilkie. It was 3 blocks from their house on McGill and 3 houses from St Leo Elementary. Holly, Heather and Tricia spent a lot of time together. For a while both Brandon and Tricia came to lunch from school. Brandon would eat fast and rush back to his friends at school. My girls and Tricia would stretch every minute of lunch to create complicated and elaborate games until it was time to run back to school. There were a lot of productions Tricia and her squad performed for us. It was easy to fall in love with my niece Tricia. I will remember but truly miss the sound of her beautiful voice calling me " Uncle Ed ".
Tricia's presence was such a tremendous gift to so many. I join with her community or friends and family in sadness and grief today, and in gratitude that she was a part of my life. Lou and Marie, thank you for the love and care you have always provided to her. I am keeping you in my mind and heart.

Well we finally have a date that will work for Tricia’s Celebration of Life. We are in the process of figuring out how we will notify and invite people and there will be an evite invitation that we ask people to respond to. I wanted to give the family a heads up as soon as we decided so here it is. Everyone in the family is invited although we realize it will not be possible for everyone to attend. The date is Monday Sept 23 and there will be what we will call a private family mass at St Bonaventure Church in Calgary at 10:30 am followed by the Interment of her inurned ashes in our Family plot at Mountain View Cemetery in Calgary. Obviously anyone who wants to attend the mass will be welcome. The Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm at the Carriage House Inn on Macleod Trail South in Calgary. Tricia wanted all her family, friends and supporters to be invited so we hope we don’t miss anyone. The Evite invitation will be posted on both this blog and Tricia’s Tides as soon as it is set up so check back and respond through the Evite when you can.

With so many people to contact it is difficult to make sure no one is left out and it is hard to know what is best.
At least Ed’s edition is read by many family members so some will know before Tricia’s Tides is updated.
Tricia’s battle with cancer finally ended this morning at 2:35. Marie and I were both at her bedside at Rosedale Hospice and were able to say goodbye. Please let others know she went very peacefully.

Wow! This is news we've been preparing for a long time and yet it hits very hard. In 1980 Deanie and I moved back to Regina from Calgary. Marie found the house for us on 14 Wilkie. It was 3 blocks from their house on McGill and 3 houses from St Leo Elementary. Holly, Heather and Tricia spent a lot of time together. For a while both Brandon and Tricia came to lunch from school. Brandon would eat fast and rush back to his friends at school. My girls and Tricia would stretch every minute of lunch to create complicated and elaborate games until it was time to run back to school. There were a lot of productions Tricia and her squad performed for us. It was easy to fall in love with my niece Tricia. I will remember but truly miss the sound of her beautiful voice calling me " Uncle Ed ".

Well we finally have a date that will work for Tricia’s Celebration of Life.
We are in the process of figuring out how we will notify and invite people and there will be an evite invitation that we ask people to respond to. I wanted to give the family a heads up as soon as we decided so here it is.
Everyone in the family is invited although we realize it will not be possible for everyone to attend.
The date is Monday Sept 23 and there will be what we will call a private family mass at St Bonaventure Church in Calgary at 10:30 am followed by the Interment of her inurned ashes in our Family plot at Mountain View Cemetery in Calgary. Obviously anyone who wants to attend the mass will be welcome.
The Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm at the Carriage House Inn on Macleod Trail South in Calgary. Tricia wanted all her family, friends and supporters to be invited so we hope we don’t miss anyone.
The Evite invitation will be posted on both this blog and Tricia’s Tides as soon as it is set up so check back and respond through the Evite when you can.

Hello everyone,
The first email invitation list was forwarded to Tasha yesterday and the response has been amazing. Unfortunately we cannot post the evite on the blog as we had hoped and we do not have everyone’s email addresses. The family emails were sent in the hopes that everyone would include members of their families that wanted to come. We don’t know for sure if that happened.
I think the best way to handle the situation is that if you know of a family member or even a friend that would like to attend that did not get included on someone’s evite reply then send me their email address and I will make sure they get an evite.
Remember, Tricia wanted anyone in the family and Anyone that was part of her support system throughout the years to be able to come to the celebration of her life so please help us reach those people.
