๐Over the years, we have seen the ripple effects of this “gift that keeps on giving”๐. In so many ways, times and places, family and friends have gone on enjoying your loving presence in our lives๐ก, Marcia and Tony๐ซ.
๐In your December 19th health update, Tony, you acknowledged just how much we are all receivers of Marcia’s generous gift of life when you wrote๐, “ I am confident that our wonderful kidney will recover’. It does truly belong to all of us.๐ฎ
๐Have a joyful anniversary day, Marcia and Tony. That’s exactly what we are doing, too๐๐บ. To life!๐ท๐ท
2020 was truly a year of reflection. Most of my time, and that of most others, was spent in solitude. Marcia's gift and Dennis', Brandt's and Shawn's generosity in supporting Marcia's decision to do what she did are remarkable. At 46 years old Marcia ,without concern for her own mortality, faced more than just a long physical recovery to give her brother a second chance for a healthy life. In 1998, our family tree consisted of two families, Carol's and mine, and Sonia's. We now have 8 families on our tree, and my renewed health has allowed me to watch my grandchildren take their first step, score their first touchdown, learn a second language, find their soul mate, and start their own family. Our mother, Mary Antonini demonstrated countless times the power of prayer. Whether it be a thought, a word or a formal prayer, my brothers and sisters (and many others) have all contributed to the success we have had over the 50 years that Carol and I have dealt with diabetes, and its many complications. In reflecting the purpose of my life I have tried to be there for my children whenever they needed me. Marcia was there when I needed her most. Carol has been there for our children always, even when they didn't need her. L ove is the O ne V irtue that conquers E verything.
๐Greetings to you in Regina from us in our St. Andrews home. ๐It is a bright, sunny day here and we intend to go for a walk along East Sands this afternoon๐ถ♂️. 2020 was truly a year of reflection. Most of my time, and that of most others, was spent in solitude. Marcia's gift and Dennis', Brandt's and Shawn's generosity in supporting Marcia's decision to do what she did are remarkable. At 46 years old Marcia ,without concern for her own mortality, faced more than just a long physical recovery to give her brother a second chance for a healthy life.
In 1998, our family tree consisted of two families, Carol's and mine, and Sonia's. We now have 8 families on our tree, and my renewed health has allowed me to watch my grandchildren take their first step, score their first touchdown, learn a second language, find their soul mate, and start their own family.
Our mother, Mary Antonini demonstrated countless times the power of prayer. Whether it be a thought, a word or a formal prayer, my brothers and sisters (and many others) have all contributed to the success we have had over the 50 years that Carol and I have dealt with diabetes, and its many complications.
In reflecting the purpose of my life I have tried to be there for my children whenever they needed me. Marcia was there when I needed her most. Carol has been there for our children always, even when they didn't need her.
