I haven't thought of anything to say and I'm afraid if I don't post now I'll forget all about it. You know how the saying goes, " My memory is really good...it's just really short". They also say it gets worse as you get older. I have noticed lately that the only time I can remember what I had for lunch is when I'm eating it. Have a good day.

Whoever ‘they’ are, they are right, memory does seem to get worse as you get older๐ต๐ด.
I did remember to check this morning, on Groundhog Day๐️, to see whether or not our Canadian groundhog saw his shadow๐. I discovered that friendly Freddy had died before he could make a prediction for 2023๐ณ️. He will be replaced for next year but that’s no help at all๐คท♀️. We have wakened to fresh snow on this February morning; ☃️spring is definitely not in the air here. We’ll just have to wait and see what Mother Nature has in store for us.๐ฎ It is not looking very promising here in the Okanagan Valley.๐

I suppose 'they' would be the scientists. The ones that do the studying of our brains and such, however, they have been losing their credibility in my mind. It took them centuries to accept that the earth rotates around the sun, they've made a few mistakes in the medical field, Pluto was a planet for the first 5 decades of my life and now a man can be a women or a women can be a man. "Trust the science" people say, I think it's time for them to stick the science where the sun doesn't shine. Just my humble opinion.

Two days ago, on February 19, Tony’s life ended peacefully in a Regina hospital room๐ฉ. The impact of his death is being felt, far and wide๐. Those closest to him were right there with him in his final moment - his wife, Carol and their children, Sonia, Cory, Dustin, Keenan and Jenalee๐. Soon family and friends across Canada, in the US, Great Britain, Italy, China and Costa Rica heard the news of Tony’s passing๐. Already, on Facebook alone, hundreds of people have expressed their sorrow, gratitude and love๐ - (yes, hundreds).
In every arena of his life, Tony was a wise person and a good man - really the best๐. Whether you knew him as husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, in-law, friend, colleague or associate, your connection with him was unique and personal๐ชข. We all acknowledge that Tony deserves the peace he has found in death but he will be sadly missed by everyone whose life he touched between November 5, 1946 and February 19, 2023๐ญ.
⌛️Thanks, Tony, rest in peace.
Thanks Louise for such a beautiful message about dad. He will be missed by so many people and he left a lasting impact on many lives. We can take some comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain and at peace. He will always be with us as well as all the things he taught us. We love him dearly and I could have asked for a better dad and role model.
Thank you Louise , that made me cry " Happy Tears" he loved his family so much and enjoyed everyday , but when he knew in the last few days of his struggle he wanted peace . Thank you everyone, he always said we were so blessed, hopefully see everyone when we celebrate his life .
That’s beautiful Louise ❤️ I miss our ‘did you do your wordl” reminders already, Cory and I made sure to keep his streak going the last few days that he just couldn’t.
He was my hero and nothing would make me prouder than when my mom would say “ oh you are just like father”…. What a good thing to be ❤️❤️
He fought hard and never complained, even in his weakest moments. All the memories and the stories will keep him close.
I have to say, his brothers and sisters are such great supporters and he enjoyed the reunions l, the Sunday visits and you can’t leave out cornhole, so thank you.
To my siblings and mom... The love and support we shared during this last fight warms my heart.

Tony really added so much to so many lives. What an amazing man! We always had so much fun and laughter when we were with him. ( And sometimes, a few tears ). We have many wonderful memories. We will miss his many stories, his wisdom, his love. He was a wonderful example and inspiration to all of us. Thank you Tony for enriching our lives. You will be sadly missed.
