This one snuck up on me, so I haven't anything prepared. I'm very busy learning how to garden, I find the things I learn today are gone tomorrow, so I'm in a continuing learning loop. Deanie's green thumb is battling my black thumb and because we are getting some produce from our labors it looks like her thumb is greener than mine is black. All we need now is for the sun to keep shining and the rain to keep falling. The sun is quite dependable but the rain is much less so. It makes me much more appreciative of the Farmer's Market venders. Looking forward to August.

Happy August. I'm with you on the thumbs. The only thing I ever did in our yard was wash my hands in the hose. Good thing Deanie and Bob could compensate for the two of us. Here's hoping you get the rain you need. And thank goodness for Framers' Markets.

Here in St. Andrews, our yard is known as Dave’s garden๐จ๐พ. He has the green thumb in our family๐งค. I do get to spend time out there doing one of the many things I enjoy๐ฅฐ: smelling the flowers๐น, watching the birds๐️, visiting friends☕️, reading๐, surfing the Net๐ฉ๐ป, having a meal๐ฅช, soaking up the sun☀️, celebrating happy hour๐น… all unrelated to the art of gardening๐ชด. I wisely and happily leave that to Dave๐จ๐ป๐จ.
