We are getting through the year. I just finished playing golf with Lou, Mike and Rob at the 4th annual Kelly Hamilton Memorial tournament. I didn't play the 1'st year. We shot Lou's age again, we've shot it the last three years, 76, 77, 78. In another couple of years we won't be able to break 80, both Lou and I could do that ourselves 50 years ago. It is the only round of golf I do each year and I look so forward to it and enjoy it so much that I suffer the consequences the following week. It is similar to how I feel after a reunion, no matter the numbers. This summer has kicked me around, planting garden with Don and Vic, the party at Len and Kelly's, the Wakaw visit with Joan and Dennis and Shirley and Gary and now golfing with Lou a few days ago. I've loved every minute but I have had some ups and downs.

In my rush to get the opening for this months blog thread , I forgot to mention Marty at the tournament. Marty drives up with Lou from Calgary. I guess that would be drives down from Calgary, they are at a much higher altitude than Regina. Anyway, Marty doesn't golf but he is one of the highlights of the tournament as he provides the entertainment at the end of day. The people love it as he lets them sing along. Robyn, the wife of Kelly Hamilton, especially likes the "Seven Spanish Angels" which us brothers sing. There's no longer seven of us, "angels" is suspect, and I don't think we could do a good job of communicating in Spain or any other Spanish speaking country. Tony might be the only angel in the group and hopefully he's putting in a good word for the rest of us. I suppose him and Mary-Ellen enjoyed our performance of the song. Marty actually makes us sound acceptable and.
