March 1

March 1st almost passed by without an entry. It's been somewhat hectic around our place since Deanie's dad died. There have been some very emotional moments with the family. He was 95 and will be missed. We have the funeral on Friday and I expect to see a large number of people. He was certainly loved by the town of Lumsden, I was happy to call him dad.

Lots of love

February 1

I woke up this first morning of February feeling like I could start an intense exercise program to carve off the extra weight I'm carrying around. Luckily I was able to crawl back into bed until the feeling passed.

Have a great day

Happy New Year!!!

It is at this time I usually resolve not to make a new year's resolution thus breaking it as I make it. This year is different, I am making resolutions. I will exercise more, I will eat less, I will read more, watch tv less, do more work around the house, do more work around the yard, spend less time on the computer, pay more attention to the news, learn to cook, pray more often, make a bucket list, develop a hobby and shave everyday. Basically become a better person. There...Jesus, I have no idea what's happening now but I anticipate fun and happiness in the future.

December!!!

Now that Betty Jo and Louise and I have solved the latest quiz, I can start a new thread. That's part of blogging etiquette, never start a new thread while a contest or puzzle is in progress.
Here it is, December, a month of get togethers. We start off with a bang tomorrow at Rob and Bonnie's for the Antonini Christmas party. Deanie's going to miss this one, she's celebrating her sister Joan's 60 birthday with her two sisters and Joan's two daughters in law in Vegas. She won't be back til the 8th, she's going to miss her own birthday as well. Oh well, I'll save a couple bucks not having to buy her a present. Ouch! I was so focused on hunting down and pecking out the keys, I didn't notice her standing behind me. More blogging etiquette...no standing behind a blogger while he's trying to type out an entry.

Have a great month.

P.S. I think she slapped out a few of the last strands of hair I have left.

November 01,10

The blog continues to stay active, not a lot of visitors but enough to warrant continuation. I'm hearing that it's Movember, you're supposed to grow a mustache to draw awareness to prostate cancer???? Should be good for a laugh.

October 1

There you go again. Another 1st of the month almost snuck past me. We are having great weather so work has been extra busy. The guy I work for used to be my doubles racquetball partner, he used to call us Anvil Antonini and Ripples Robinson. I know, I know, he wasn't much of a ripples either. Just another nick name I remembered, no wonder I don't know who the hell I am. Have a great day.

September 1

September is a month I'll always remeber, when I was a little, bitty, baby...well, i was older than that, I was in high school actually, Campion College to be exact, I happened to be expelled one day, yeah, I know, hard to believe. Tony had been a model student, Lou saved his model student year for O'neill. They wanted me to follow in Tony's footsteps, yeah, right. It was all downhill from there. Anyway, as i was saying, I was expelled. I was late for classes, was all, 5 times in 3 days. There was a special bus that you could catch on 5th ave, it would swing past the Academy then roll out to Campion on 23rd and Albert. Who the hell knew that? I didn't find out til the 4th day, and listen, if they want a kid to get back in time after lunch, they should have considered letting Bud's Spud's Chip Truck park in the lot at Campion instead of making me walk down to the Golden Mile. It wasn't that long a walk, it was just slow going past Marion, both ways. Anyways, back to my punishment for being expelled. I had to spend the day off with dad...Ha! They're lucky I was ever on time again. I'll always remember that day.

Lots of love
